Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger - Graphic 45 Valentine Card - Love Is In The Message Card

I love the vintage feel of Graphic 45 Ladies Diary and thought I would use it for the February Valentine Card Challenge along with the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab I thought the Penny Black “Love Is In The Message” stamp was the perfect stamp to go along with the card, don’t you?

I used an embossing folder on the card front and the hinge to continue with the vintage feel that I was trying to achieve with the stamp and paper collection. Did you noticed I embossed my hinge with both the embossing folder and also with seafoam white embossing powder. I hope you are inspired and get those  Graphic 45 papers, some embossing folders and join the Valentine Challenge at Graphic 45. Hugs Pammejo

The Color Challenge  today with Scrapbook News and Review today is using hues of blue and brown. My card I hope captures the look of the inspiration. I decided to use the wavy lines to capture the movement of the circles, also the paper I feel gives the grasp of the hues of brown and blue.

"Stuck" Layout with Remininsce

Today on Scrapbook News and Review you will find this fabulous sketch that is being shared. If you never tried a sketch this one is a very easy one to get started with and I am sure you will love your layout when it is completed.

This is my take on the layout. I used Reminisce Autumn Harvest for my project.  I punched an edge on the left using an EK Inch Punch, then laced brown sheer ribbon through it and added a Vintag metal with one of the leaves to the top of the triangle shape. I used burlap to give the image of the semi-circle that is shown on the sketch. Added some of the words to the matted photo along with Want2Scrap gemstones to finish the layout. Again I hope you try out the sketch and check on Scrapbook News and Review.

But you know when you make one layout you have to make a layout to go along with it. This is my companion layout showing a few more pictures of my husband and brother-in-law trying to figure out how to get it out of the mud and leaves. Don't you love how I tipped the bottom right corner up and stapled it, I think it is a cool little focal point. My letters are from Creative Imaginations that I stained with Marmalade stain. I added a small piece of burlap and a button to the top of the page, I always like using some of same or similar items on both pages.

You Are My Sunshine Card and Sketch with SNR

Today is a sketch that is being shown on Scrapbook News and Review Blog. I hope you enjoy my take on it and try making a card yourself with the sketch, just remember to always give the sketch designer credit. Today sketch designer is Lucy Chesna Designs.
I used American Craft Fresh Squeezed Collection to make You Are My Sunshine Happy Birthday Card. You Are My Sunshine piece is actually a recipe card that I that I attached my gift card to the front of. I made a pocket to the front of my card my just gluing the two sides and bottom of the paper piece that I had decorated to the front of the card.
I added an accordion flower that I placed an epoxy flower over a lemon circle using an Epiphany Punch. The "happy" is part of a paper strip and the "birthday" comes off of a SRM Sticker. I also added some ribbon to the front of my card, to my recipe card and stapled them on with my tiny attacher. Try looking at your paper stash to see what unique items you can use to make your gift cards become apart of. Hugs Pammejo
