OH MY...

Christmas is just about 6 weeks away!!!

Do you need to create a few Christmas Cards!!!

Are you excited to see all the fabulous sketches for this quarter on PageMaps! 

I love mixing up my Christmas Card making with other Fall projects!

It keeps me from becoming overwhelmed.

BUT REMEMBER....

that the CardMaps and PageMaps sketches can be incorporated for any holiday, theme, event, etc.

Here is the CardMaps sketch I used!

I love the simplicity of the sketch...

BUT...

It can be created simply or with lots of added layers.  

I began my card by adhering my Nostalgia pattern paper to the top of my card base using a Xyron Tape runner. 

Die cut the Scribbles from white card stock; run through the Xyron Creative Station using Xyron Permanent Adhesive. 

Add to top of card. 

Die cut "Noel" sentiment from the Vintage Tidings Die; layer together. 

Adhere to top of card over scribbles. 

Punch patter paper circle and scalloped images; layer together. 

Add to front of card over scribbles. 

Punch second image; add to top of card with pop dots. 

Die cut Paper Snowflakes from pattern paper; adhere to front of card. 

Add small enamel dot to center of one snowflake. 

Punch small circles from pattern paper; layer together with pop dot. 

Add to center of snowflake.

Trick or Treat Card with PageMaps

Halloween!!!

As part of the CardMaps Design Team I am excited to be able to share a few cards for you to enjoy...

BUT REMEMBER....

that these are sketches and can be incorporated for any holiday, theme, event, etc.

Here is the CardMaps sketch I used!

BUT...

It can be created simply or with lots of added layers.  

Begin by adhering Authentique Nightfall pattern paper to card stock; adhere to 5" x 6 1/2" card base. 

Create 2 flags; mat on black card stock. 

Wrap flags with orange and tan twine; tie in a bow. 

Wrap tan twine into a circle; adhere to front of flags. 

Mat sticker from Authentique Nightfall Detail Sheet to black card stock; add to card front with pop dots. 

Mat "Trick or Treat" to black card stock; add to card front with pop dots. 

Add black gemstones and tan bow to card.

Happy Fall with Page Maps Sketches

Happy Fall!!! 

Are you excited to see all the fabulous sketches for this quarter on PageMaps! 

As part of the CardMaps Design Team I am excited to be able to share a few of this quarters sketches for you to enjoy!  

Here is the first sketch...love the simplicity that is here but yet it makes a fabulous start to making some fabulous cards. 

Begin my layering Authentique Pleasant pattern paper and borders to card base with Xyron adhesive. 

Stamp small sunflowers from Blank Page Muse Fall Collection 2 on pattern paper. 

Fussy cut and  layer flowers together. 

Add Flower Soft to centers. 

Adhere prepared sunflowers to top of card front. 

Stamp sentiment with black ink to pattern paper; mat on paper. 

Add to front of card with pop dots. 

Adhere two small flags to bottom of card with tiny stapler.

Jingle Christmas Cards, Tag and Photo Mat Collection with Authentique

Good morning!!! Today I sharing a couple Christmas Cards, Tag and Photo Mat that I created for our Christmas in July collaboration with PageMaps . The week of July 23-27 the Authentique Team used PageMaps and CardMaps sketches as inspiration....so if you missed them make sure to go back and check them out. If you have never used a sketch...well it is a great way to get inspired.

The Noel Card is created very simply by adhering the Jingle pattern paper to the card base. Add a few matted pattern paper squares to top.

Die cut a snowflake to place in the center and add a small circle punch gingerbread house in the center of the snowflake.

Stamp NOEL to pattern paper with black ink. Wrap red twine around card and tie NOEL to twine. Create a twine bow and adhere to top of card.

Create a pocket inside of  card with pattern paper.

Make a fun gift tag to place inside.

Front and Back of Tag with Gift Card slide under Doily Die Cut.

For my second card I created a "Have A Wonderful Christmas Full of Love" Card

Adhere pattern paper to top of card base. Wrap red twine around card. Tie button into place with red twine. Add small flags under scallop borders.

Stamp sentiment to card front.

Mat Santa Epherema Card to pattern paper; add to top of card with pop dots.

Create Photo Pocket inside card.

Using one of the large Santa Epherema Cards create a photo mat with Jingle pattern paper.

Front and Back of Photo Mat...remember to add a cute photo to the back of mat. I hope you are inspired to create some quick and easy but also unique Christmas Cards. Pam

Warm Winter Wishes withPage Maps Sister Scrapbook Sketch Contest We R Memory Keepers "Merry January" Collection

Page Maps is hosting a sketch contest with Sisters Scrapbook and they are offering a very nice prize package. The deadline is November 21st, make sure to run over to Page Maps to get all of the fine details on the contest. I tell you lately I can't get enough of the We R Memory Keepers Collections and the new Easy Sew Tool. It is super easy to use, just trying to get my pressure right but I know that it will depend on the papers I decide to use. On this layout I had to go through both pattern paper and card stock so I had to push just a bit harder but it is super easy to use and to line up. Check it out on the border underneath my snowman. It sure made the border become connected to the Curry Dot paper
.

Take a look at this fabulous stamp from We R Memory Keepers, it to is from the "Merry January" collection. I stamped directly on my Bo Bunny Curry Dot paper and then I paper pieced it on top of the stamped image by just repeat stamping on scrap papers from the collection, cutting and gluing it to the top of the stamped image.

Look at my ruffle border that I placed on my page to go along with the Page Map sketch. I cut 3/4" strips of paper and then with my scissors made narrow cuts into the strips going almost to the edge. I then took tweezers and rolled up every other one to make the rolls. It is so, so easy and gave a great look to the page. I then just adhered it to the photos in the lengths that I needed.

PageMaps 2 Sketch Challenge

I haven't done any of the PageMap sketch challenges so I thought I would try it with this sketch. Just love the sketch and knew as soon as I saw it what my interpretation of it would be.

Look at all the fabulous details on this sketch, how could you not fall in love with it, with them. I am planning on doing another challenge that I will post later on this week. If you haven't had a chance to visit PageMaps you should run right over there and check it out and try doing one of the sketches.
I found this cute poem online by just typing into my search engine Coloring Eggs poem and this was the first one that popped up. I read it and of course thought perfect. It said just what I wanted my journaling to say.

Do you see all of the stitch lines, they are from We R Memory Keepers latest tool, the Easy Sew. Love it and super easy to use. Gives great detail to a page when you don't have your sewing machine with you.

My letters are from the Dragonfly Quickutz Alphabet. My papers are all from the Rusty Pickle White Chocolate Bunnies Collection.
