DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

What a fun way to celebrate the end of the school year but for parents to celebrate their children!

So why not create a fun layout using We R Makers/Vicki Boutin Cut and Paste Collection!

PHOTO 1: Begin by applying Ranger Fossilized Yellow and Festive Pink Distress Inks to the right side of 12 x 12 white card stock. Dry.

PHOTO 2: Spatter with Black Paint, dry. 

PHOTO 3: Add pattern paper to left side of prepared base. Add strip of pattern paper. 

PHOTO 4: Lay Solar Flare Stencil to right side of prepared paper; apply Distress Crackle White paint to top with palette knife. Dry.

PHOTO 5: Add photo to start layout. 

PHOTO 6: Fussy cut flower elements from pattern paper, add flowers randomly to page. 

Fussy cut butterfly elements from page; add randomly to page. 

FUSSY CUT BUTTERFLIES AND FLOWERS

Type sentiment using Word Doc; cut and mat on coordinating card stock. 

Add word pieces to page. 

Finish with tucking pieces of white thread under a few butterfly wings.

YANKEE DOODLE HIDDEN PAPERCLIP TAGS

Barbeques, family and friends gathering together in remembrance of those that have served and are serving our nation and communities! 

THANK YOU! 

I created a few hidden Yankee Doodle Hidden Paperclips to use in future projects! I hope you enjoy them and create a few for yourself or friends using the simple step out tutorial. 

Photo 1: Begin by folding different sizes and lengths of paper in half. 

 Each clip is created the same way using different sizes and designs. 

Photo 2: Add a paper clip to the top fold. 

Photo 3: Cut smaller piece to fit over the base peace. Decorate with scraps of paper. 

(MAKE SURE that the width and length will cover the paperclip.)

Photo 4: Adhere the prepared layer piece to base piece. 

(NOTE: I like to place the base piece over a base card base to make sure it will secure correctly.)

Now have fun creating your very own Hidden Paperclips!

Created as tutorial.

Scallop border on open side. 

Add fussy cut flowers from pattern paper. 

Add flowers and USA Sticker to top of project with pop dots. 

Add Glossy Accent to flower centers. Dry. 

YANKEE DOODLE

Created as tutorial.

Corner punch the opening with punch. 

Add fussy cut flower to project with pop dots. 

Use the YANKEE DOODLE edge from paper; add to project with pop dots. 

Add Glossy Accent to flower centers. Dry

BETTER TOGETHER PLAYING CARD

Better Together when using 49 and Market products,

Lay a small stencil pattern on card front; add texture paste. Dry.

Ink edges with black ink, splatter with red paint.  

Add a small doily piece and tab to the outside of the card.

Add a pop of color using a red flower and green leaf.

Place small metal to give added interest!

One of My Favorite Storage Box with Eileen Hull Creative Team

ONE OF MY FAVORITE things is to create STORAGE!!!

Using the Handbound Journal Die you can do just that!

The below video will walk you through the process but it all starts with cutting two of Handbound Journal covers and binds to build a box. 

Once the Storage Box is covered with Wonderlust Explorer paper it is time to decorate. 

Add natural jute around edges of prepared storage box to create a finish look. 

Die cut one of the Rainbow Wheel Die from pattern paper; adhere together. 

Add to front of storage box. 

Decorate the front of storage box using Ephemera from the Wonderlust Explorer Collection. 

Die cut and add arrows from the Rainbow Wheel Die to storage box. 

Add small flowers, gold twine and white thread to storage box. 

Finish with labels from the Journal Hardware Die to sides of storage box along with Ephemera. 

Enjoy creating storage using your favorite Eileen Hull dies.

STRAWBERRY BEAR! 

Die cut 4 pieces from Strawberry Box Die Kit using red card stock; stamp image with black ink. 

Form one strawberry according to the direction; (Fill at this time with a treat if you want.)

Add to small wood disc with hot glue. 

Form second strawberry according to the direction; (Do not cut embroidery thread.) 

Cut the second strawberry off at bottom so it will fit over the strawberry box on disc; draw the embroidery thread down to the bottom to secure the top. (Glue the cut strawberry to the bottom strawberry.)

Cut 3/4 strawberry topper from pattern paper.

Cut petals apart to for a ruffle around neck. 

Hot glue each piece in place around neck.  

Add natural jute around neck to create a collar around the neck of bear.

Cut circles from brown and pattern paper to form feet, arms and ears. 

Add small brown card stock circle to top strawberry to create nose. 

Add small pattern paper semi-circle to feet and ears to create dimension. 

Add pink twine bow to front of bear. 

Add googly eyes. 

Add die cut flowers and leaves to top of bear; along with small die cut butterflies. 

Add natural moss around base. 

Die cut flowers; add to base.

The May Sizzix Release is here! The Handbound Journal is a ScoreBoards XL die designed to cut and score thick materials like matboard, leather, and felt. It includes built-in score lines, holes, a spine piece, and large labels—no measuring needed! At 6" x 5", you can customize the book’s thickness and choose hand or quick binding, all with a pretty scalloped edge. One of the most versatile designs yet.

The Bigz Journal Hardware Die offers latches, hinges, and pen loops, perfectly sized to coordinate with the journal, and cuts a variety of materials.

The Colour Wheel Stencil is a three-layer stencil that creates a continuous color wheel—use traditional ROYGBIV or customize your palette. Pair it with the Rainbow Wheel Die, which cuts the framework, segmented circle, and arrows for a functional color wheel.

The Swatch Card Stamp Set includes a round palette, rectangular and pie-shaped swatch cards, plus color-themed phrases perfect for cards or journals.

Begin by cutting 24 pieces of watercolor paper to measure 2 3/4" x 5 3/4". 

Using Sizzix Stamp press; place stamps from 666881 Swatch Card Stamps on stamp press. 

Stamp each page using black ink. 

Cut 12 sheets of pattern paper at 3" x 12"; fold in half.

Add stamped watercolor papers to front and back of each page. 

Stack pages together and secure with clips to form bind. 

Add red line time to bind. 

Cut 2 binds from the 666882 Hardbound Journal Die; cut to measure 3 1/2" long. 

Trim one of the bind edge off. 

Adhere the two binds together.

Cut 2 chipboard pieces to measure 3 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Adhere pattern paper to inside covers along with border strips. 

Adhere bind to outside covers of chipboard to form book. 

Finish the inside by covering the bind with pattern paper.  

Cover outside of book with pattern paper. 

Cover bind with pattern paper. 

Adhere prepared pages to inside of art swatch book. 

Stamp Swatch Card Stamps images on pattern paper. 

Color with markers. 

Add to font of book

Die cut Rainbow Wheel Die from pattern paper; add to front cover. 

Cut Journal Hardware from chipboard and pattern paper, add to bind. 

Finish with adding your favorite sentiments from the Swatch Card Stamps!!!
