Grateful Banner

SO GRATEFUL for this time of year!
Time to stop and reflect on all those blessings through the year.
What better way to celebrate but to create a fabulous banner that will help you to remember to stop, look around and enjoy life!
I used Eileen's wonderful September dies for my banner along with 49 & Market Vintage Orchard Collection.

Cut 4 of the Windowsill Flower and Vase from patten paper.
Layer on the adjoining die from the Tunnel Arches that fits the frame.
(HINT: Make sure to place on paper that has interesting features on it.)

Decorate each arch banner using dies and add layers with pop dots.

Add bits and pieces of Ephemera to each arch banner.

Apply a twine bow or two to the arch banners along with a few fussy cut images.

Enjoy creating arch banners or use individual as card fronts.

Bee the Best 3D Lantern

I saved these 4" wooden embellishment containers for just that special project and what do you know it fit perfect as a base to the 3D Lantern. Love that is had the wooden slats to create the stabilization I needed for the candle votive. If you can't find one like this just add a 4" piece of cut wood, heavy chipboard, etc.

Die cut pieces of the Diamond Press Christmas Lantern pieces; add to the base.

Turn over; lay stencil to top pieces and apply crackle paste to top with palette knife. Dry.
Repeat until all sides are done.
Cut small pattern paper pieces to adhere behind trellis of top of 3D Lantern prior to adhering together.

Add prepared wooden embellishment base to underside of 3D Lantern.
(Again, this will create stabilization of base.)
Add votive candle holder to inside after you have 3 sides adhered together.
Add flickering small eclectic candle to votive.
Adhere 4th side into place.

Create 9 or so flowers, add dark brown or black enamel dots to center.

FRONT OF BEE THE BEST 3D LANTERN
WITH CLOSEUPS
Decorate sides of 3D Lantern using the flowers you created along with die cut filigrees and leaves.
