Day 13 - Quick and Easy Faux Postage Card

Day 13 - Time to create a quick and easy faux postage card. 

Super simple and clean. 

Add red card stock and pattern paper to card base. 

Die cut faux postage die on pattern paper; add to top of card. 

Add Ephemera bits and pieces to top of card front, make sure to keep some of the faux postage die exposed.

Day 12 - Joy Wreath

JOY WREATH begins by starting with a cardboard wreath, some ink, paint and a few stencils. 

Lay stencil on cardboard wreath apply ink to top and along sides. 

Lay second stencil to wreath; apply paint with palette knife. Dry. 

Add pattern paper to underneath of wreath. 

Die flourishes; add to top of wreath 

Fussy cut bird and leaves from pattern paper; add to wreath. 

 Die cut flowers, form and add to wreath. 

Die cut flowers; form and add to wreath. 

Add flower soft to centers of flowers. 

Tuck premade pinecones and ribbon around flowers. 

Add die and embossed leaves. 

Place a few small ephemera tags to add interest. 

Finish by adding the JOY Sentiment to inside of wreath. 

Spatter with white paint. Dry.

Day 11.... Nostalgic Christmas Gift Bags

Grab those bags and boxes...

to create your own gift bags and boxes using leftover Christmas paper and Ephemera. 

I used my Nostalgic Christmas Collection that is manufactured with Emerald Creek. 

Add pattern paper to front of bags or boxes. 

Add fussy cut Ephemera, bow and tissue paper. 

Fill with your gifts.

Day 10 - Its A Wonderful World Globe

Day 10 - It's A Wonderful Life 

Let's celebrate with making super easy dimensional globes.

This is the first time I created one and it is basically just adding bits and pieces to inside of globe using hot glue. 

I colored the deer and snowman with Copic Markers. prior to gluing them into place. 

Adda few trees and metal pinecones into the glitter paste that was used as snow. 

Add door and transparent piece to inside of globe. 

Once the snow is dry slide the globe into place over the cork stand. 

Wrap a piece of decorative paper and paper scallop border to bottom

Add sentiment and stars along with jute rim and bow. 

Place a small wood ball and wrap base with jute to finish.

Day 7 - Christmas Art Journaling

 

DAY  7 - CHRISTMAS ART JOURNAL PAGES

Art journaling is a great way to relax anytime of year but during the holiday season it is a great way to just get lost in your crafts. 

So grab your favorite art journal book, stencils, inks, paints, paste, rub-ons or any other item you love to create with and just have fun!

Day 6 - Merry Christmas Card Folio

Day 6 - Christmas is in the air! 

Folio...are all the rage right now!

Let's create one to fill with lots of goodies! 

Begin with a Kraft Envelope; trim off the sides so it will open up, 

Decorate each part of the envelop with decorative paper, pockets, waterfall insert and tags along with fussy cut poinsettias that have been layer together. 

Add fun layers of decorative strips to each part. 

Place an invisible velcro to inside top flap of card. 

Waterfall Insert using Winter Wonderland Journal pieces. 

Add photos, notes or gift cards to insert. 

Create a pocket on the bottom part of envelope to hold a slimline card

Add small pocket to pocket. 

Add tag. 

Fussy cut poinsettias and layer together, add to envelope. 

Create a slim line card to place in pocket. 

Tear a strip of pattern paper; add to envelop part. 

Die cut small doily die, add. 

Fussy cut poinsettia and leaves; add. 

Add small paper clip to finish. 

Close when done decorating. 

Enjoy creating unique card folios throughout the year.

Day 5 - Winter Wonder Tag

Winter Wonder Tag

Tags are just fun to create! 

They are a good way to use scraps on your desk....

BUT...

They are more fun to add to your projects, gifts, cards, etc. 

Start by die cutting and adhering pattern paper to tag base. 

Add scallop border to bottom of tag. 

Die cut Mandala to top of tag. 

Die cut tree, add crackle paste over stencil. 

Adhere to front of tag. 

Decorate with Ephemera and Stickers.

Finish by adding a pretty bow and holiday bells.

Day 4 - Merry Christmas Canvas Frame

Merry Christmas Canvas is created using an 8 x 8 Canvas Frame. 

Cut Mintay Wildwood Secrets pattern paper to measure 7 3/4 x 7 3/4, adhere to top of frame.  

Adhere pattern paper to matboard. 

Die cut using Sizzix Mitten Die

Add cuff, paper ribbon and ephemera to top of each mitten. 

Add to top of frame. 

Add depth by creating paper flowers and leaves cut from the pattern paper; add to frame. 

Add ephemera to frame. 

Finish with fussy cut elements from paper, add enamel dots to center of flowers.

Place a nature just bow to frame. 

Enjoy for Christmas or an easy creation to give as a gift.

Day 3 - Vintage Christmas Explosion Box with Ornament

Day 3... create a fun explosion gift box using a page kit and embellishments from your stash. 

Adhere papers to each of the pages inside and outside of explosion box. 

Photo1: Add die cut doily to center of bottom of box along with sentiment embellishments.

Photo 2: Decorate each of the pages with a 1/2 of doily die cut at top.

Photo 3: Add embellishments to each page.  

Photo 4: Add a fun ornament or other item to inside. 

Photo 5: Decorate back of pages. Add photos or notes to each page. 

Photo 6: Create pockets; add paper clip embellishments along with hidden items in pockets. 

Photo 7: Create pockets for gift cards, decorate each pocket with paper tape and embellishments

Photo 8: Add decorated mats to back of pages for photos or notes. 

Decorate outside of explosion box with embellishments and die cuts. 

Enjoy creating fun and unique gift boxes filled with fun surprises.
