Thankful Mixed Media Altered Door with ColorBox


Hi ColorBox fans!!! Today sharing my Thankful Mixed Media Altered Door using ColorBox products from Clearsnap!!! I love the springy mix of the hues achieved from the Stephanie Barnard Sprays along with using ColorBox Art Screens and Stamps! 


Paint door with white gesso; dry. 


Lay ColorBox Mandala Art Screen on prepared door; apply crackle paste with palette knife; dry. 


Spray prepared door with ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Banana Spray; dry. 


Repeat with ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Guava Spray; dry.  


Repeat with ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Strawberry Spray; dry. 


Paint chipboard border with white gesso; dry


Adhere chipboard pieces to top of prepared door. 


Spray top of prepared chipboard border, flowers, and resin frames with ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Banana, Guava and Strawberry Sprays. Dry.


Stamp heart from ColorBox Bible Stamp Set to pattern paper using ColorBox  Wisteria Chalk Ink Emboss with ColorBox Opalescent Clear Embossing Powder. 


Adhere behind prepared resin heart.

Die cut doily from pattern paper; adhere behind prepared resin heart. 


Adhere to prepared door. 


Stamp "Thankful" from ColorBox Thankful Clear stamp set with ColorBox Wisteria Chalk Ink on pattern paper. Mat to pattern paper.

Adhere to front of prepared door.


Fussy cut fairy from pattern paper. Adhere to prepared door. 


Adhere prepared flowers to door.


Stamp feathers from the ColorBox Thankful Clear Stamp set with ColorBox Lime Pastel Chalk Ink. Fussy cut feathers.


Add ribbon bow, door handle and small key to finish door.
