Remember This Moment Art Journal Page

REMEMBER THIS DAY ART JOURNAL...
I always find it so relaxing to just create in art journals.
They are so fun to do...so many sizes of art journals on the market to choose from!
SO...
Your canvas can be any size that you want to create with.

I used a Tumuranta Water Color Art Journal along with 3 colors of Distress Oxide Inks from Ranger to begin my page.

Stamp with your favorite script background randomly on page.

Stamp a fun circle border stamp to edge using Ranger Black Archival Ink to edge of page.

Lay a small stencil on top of prepared art journal page.
Apply DecoArt Mixed Media Crackle Paint over top of stencil. Dry.
Finish with black spatters. Dry.
Enjoy creating art journal pages.

Discover Be Brave Find Yourself Magazine Collage Mixed Media Art Journal Pages

Art Journaling today using images from one of your favorite magazines. I used images from Southern Living Magazine, but you can choose any images.

Prepare you pages using gesso and allow it to dry.
Adhere fussy cut magazine images along with torn paper and book page pieces to the prepped pages.
Allow it to dry.
Apply clear gesso over the top to help maintain and seal the colors of the papers.

Lay stencil to top of pages; apply crackle paste to top. Dry.
Mist pages and apply watered down watercolor paints to top.
Make sure to dry between color applications so your pages don't become mucky.

Add rub-ons randomly on pages.

Add stickers here and there on pages.

Spatter with white gesso. Dry.

Apply black graphitint pencil randomly around pages. Smear out graphite with finger.

Apply some pen work around images, rub-ons, stickers, etc.

I hope you are enjoying Saturday art pages.
I also have a video on my You Tube Channel HERE... sharing photos on how pages were created.
