Steampunk Debutante Desk Organizer with Eileen Inspiration Team

Disclaimer Notice: I’ve received products/compensation as part of the Eileen Hull's Inspiration Design Team. This project however, is 100% my own project! Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. I explain more here.

Are you enjoying all the inspiration from Eileen Hull Inspiration Team!!!
If you missed last week's projects make sure to check them out on Eileen Hull Designs Blog!
What can I say....
BUT...
AMAZING!!!
I hope you continue in all of our excitement as I
share with you how to create a Steampunk Debutante Desk Organizer using Eileen's Journal Die!!!
BEST PART....
It is super easy....

Begin by cutting 2 sets of Journal Die from Matboard.
Adhere together at the bind.

Open up flat and adhere a 2" piece of scrap pattern paper to hold the Journal  together.
Turn over and repeat on back.

Cover inside with pattern paper!
Just like that you have the beginnings of a Desk Organizer!!!

INSIDE OF ORGANIZER!

Now the fun part....the inside pages!

This is the back of the Trinket Box, more details on it when we close the covers to decorate the front.
BUT...
I wanted to show that you decorate with a few stickers.

First Inside Page!

Ink all the pages and pieces with Colorbox Blends Nutmeg Ink.

Add flower border strips to each page.
Add a fussy cut butterfly to the top of page.
Die cut and decorate the Stamp and Photo Storage with pattern paper and Epherema Cards

Decorate a premade journal with pattern paper.
Add to inside of organizer with elastic to hold it into place.

Decorate with images and butterflies from the pattern paper.

Die cut a Caddy Box; trim down length and sides  to fit business cards inside.
Decorate with pattern paper.
Add to back of organizer so the image is peeking over the top.

Create a Stamp and Photo Storage  for note cards.
It is the perfect size; adhere to bottom of inside organizer.
Decorate with chipboard, stickers and butterflies.

Cover another premade journal with pattern paper.
Add to inside with elastic tie!

BACK INSIDE COVER!

Create hidden pockets using Steampunk Debutante Epherema Cards.
Fussy cut around images to create tags.
Add to formed pockets.

OUTSIDE COVERS OF ORGANIZER!

Die cut two of the Trinket Box  cover with pattern paper. Adhere one to top of Desk Organizer. (Make sure to leave a 2" over hang; refer to photo above on how to decorate.)
Wrap net ribbon around Desk Organizer and though the Ornate Metal Handle.
Tie bow.

Add second decorated  Trinket Box lid to top of ret ribbon.
Decorate oval from the  Trinket Box with Ephemera Card and butterfly.

Die cut Heart and Soul Flower from pattern paper.
Form flowers; adhere together and place on front of Desk Organizer.

I hope you are ready to "Take Flight" and create your own Desk Organizer using Eileen Hull's fabulous dies from Sizzix!
