Portrait Of A Lady Tri Fold Card...

Hi everyone!!! Are you ready for the May Challenge on the Emerald Creek Dare Blog!!
This month it is about "Dreams"...we all have dreams.
Some good and some not so much!
Butterflies always remind me of great dreams...I can watch them as they are flying around in the garden just enjoying life...looking for the next flower and searching for the next flight! It makes me dream of fairies that might be flying along with them sprinkling pixy dust in flight!
Sounds heavenly doesn't it!

I began my Dreamer of Dreams Card by first stamping the flower stamp on white paper with VersaMark. Emboss with Glacier White Embossing Powder.

Once white paper is embossed; border punch the bottom of the paper.

Ink edges with distress inks using blending tool.

Continue using distress inks until you achieve the look you like.

Adhere pattern paper and embossed paper to front of card base.

Add paper border strips to bottom of card front.
Die cut honeycomb from pattern paper; adhere to front of card.

Die cut flower from mat board; emboss with embossing powder.
Wrap with twine.
Add to front of card base with pop dots.

Stamp butterfly on pattern paper with black ink; fussy cut out.

Adhere butterflies to front of card.

Add second butterfly to top of embossed flower.

Make bow; add to front of card.

Add brad and inked "Dreamer of Dreams" sentiment to front of card.
