Hi everyone!!!
I hope you are enjoying all the projects  Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team has been sharing using the NEW HeartFelt Collection from Sizzix along with some fabulous Kunin Felt.
I created a purse to give to my grand-daughter.
She will be graduating 5th grade and she absolutely loves purses.
So I think she will love this one!!!
It is eclectic as she is.

Begin by first die cut one Sizzix Journal cover from mat board or paper to use as a pattern.
Fold 12" x 18"  Smoke Kunin Felt in half.
Lay journal cover on top of Kunin Felt; cut felt with scissors.
Repeat to top of folded Kunin Felt.
Save left over Smoke felt for straps.
Sew sides together with sewing machine to for purse.
Turn top over 1/2" sew down with sewing machine.

Cut left over Smoke Kunin Felt in half to make two narrow strips.
Sew the strips together.
Fold sides of strips over 1/2"; sew with sewing machine.

Sew lace to top of prepared purse.

Add prepared handles to inside of purse.
Sew into place with sewing machine.

HINT: When cutting felt using card stock to shim the plates to help cut through the Kunin Felt.

Adhere doilies to the purse lightly with glue.
Adhere flowers together with small patches of glue on the back; dry.
Add to prepared flowers and leaves to front of purse when dry with glue; dry

Sew buttons to the center of the attached flowers with embroidery floss.
Sew on extra buttons here and there to the front of the purse.
Add French Knots randomly around front of purse.

To finish the purse add more of the prepared flowers and leaves to the handle of the purse at the seam using embroidery floss and buttons.

I hope I have inspired you to use your wonderful  Sizzix Dies with Kunin Felt to create something fabulous. Hugs Pam
