Welcome to this quarter of the Craft Hoarders Blog Hop!!!
If you came from Tracy's Blog you are heading in the right direction!
TODAY...
I created a Trunk and matching card to share today using Eileen Hull's Trunk Die that I love
AND...
Authentique Paper I bought in 2012 and never broke the seal to the package til this week.
I love the black and white hues of the paper with its hints of green.
I die cut the Trunk from chipboard and pattern paper
BUT...
once the Trunk was covered I thought it need some color...
SOMETHING....
to make the Trunk pop with a bit more beauty!
So I grabbed two Copic Markers and colored some of the images in.
Fussy cut them out to form flowers and leaves.
And created some pretty flowers for my Trunk.
Added one to the front and one to the top of the Trunk after I had added a handle to the top.
Adding some pretty ribbon to the handle finished dressing up the Trunk!
Don't you think it gives that vintage feel and look by just doing some simple things to finish dressing it up?

I created a beautiful card to match the Trunk.
Begin by first layering card stock and pattern paper to the top of card front.
Add more of the gingham ribbon to the top of card.
Add one of the journal blocks that comes with the kit.
Add another flower and leaf that you created using the pattern paper and markers.
Add a small die piece to the center.
I hope I have inspired you to grab some or look for some black and white paper to create with...give it a bit of color and see if there are any images you can fussy cut out to create your own embellishments.
