Create your own Haunted project using DecoArt Media products.
Make sure to submit using the Inlinkz link at the bottom of the

Halloween is right around the corner!!! Are you getting excited!!!! Well I am hoping my Haunted Plaques gets you in the mood to get those DecoArt Media Paints out and start creating!!!!
I began my Haunted Plaque by getting a Coffin Plaque from our local craft store.
Cut Gina's Lasercut Texture Sheet to fit and adhere it to the board using Decou-page Matte.
Allow to dry completely.
Paint Coffin Plaque and three wood spiderwebs with DecoArt Media Black Gesso.
Allow to dry completely.
Apply DecoArt White Crackle Paste to prepared board.
Allow to dry completely.
Using a paint brush, paint randomly on prepared board with DecoArt Media Diarylide Yellow.
Repeat with DecoArt Media Cadmium Orange Hue.
Repeat with DecoArt Media Blue Green Light.
Repeat with DecoArt Cerulean Blue.
Repeat with DecoArt Colbalt Blue Hue.
Allow to dry completely.
Randomly stamp prepared Coffin plaque with Black Gesso and Industrial stamp image.
Stamp until you achieve the look you like.
Allow to dry completely.
Stamp prepared spiderwebs with DecoArt Media Medium Grey Value and Industrial stamp image.
Allow to dry completely.Allow to dry completely.
Using Americana Decou-page Matte glue prepared spiderwebs to prepared coffin plaque.
Allow to dry completely.
(Set to one side and paint pumpkins,)
Paint three wooden pumpkins: one in DecoArt Media Diarylide Yellow, one in DecoArt Media Cadmium Orange Hue and one in DecoArt Media Pyrrole Orange.
Allow to dry completely.
Pyrrole Pumpkin
Randomly stamp Industrial stamp image using DecoArt Media Carbon Black.
Paint Black around the mouth, teeth and eyes using DecoArt Media Carbon Black.
Allow to dry completely.
Shade pumpkin with DecoArt Media Naphthol Red Light,
Highlight in DecoArt Media Diarylide Yellow.
Paint Stem in DecoArt Media Yellow Green Light.
Shade with DecoArt Phthalo Green-Yellow.
Allow to dry completely.
Using a Sakura Pigma Micron #8 Pen to do line work.
Adhere finished Pyrrole Pumpkin to pattern paper, trim.
Set to one side.
Cadmium Orange Hue Pumpkin
Randomly stamp gears from Steampunk Shoes Stamp set with DecoArt Media Carbon Black.
Allow to dry completely.
Shade pumpkin with DecoArt Media Naphthol Red Light.
Allow to dry completely.
Paint stem with DecoArt Media Yellow Green Light.
Shade stem with DecoArt Phthalo Green-Yellow.
Allow to dry completely.
Apply DecoArt Media White Crackle Paste using palette knife and Americana Pixelated Stencil.
Allow to dry completely.
Using a Sakura Pigma Micron #8 Pen to do line work.
Adhere finished Cadmium Orange Hue Pumpkin to pattern paper, trim.
Set to one side.
Diarylide Yellow Pumpkin
Using stencil brush, apply DecoArt Media Carbon Black with DecoArt Whirlpool Stencil.
Lightly stipple over pumpkin using DecoArt Carbon Black.
Allow to dry completely.
Shade with DecoArt Media Naphithol Red Light.
Allow to dry completely.
Paint stem with DecoArt Yellow Green Light.
Shade with Naphthol Red Light.
Allow to dry completely.
Using a Sakura Pigma Micron #8 Pen to do line work.
Paint the "B" with DecoArt Media Yellow Green Light
Shade Phthalo Green-Yellow.
Allow to dry completely.
Paint "O" with DecoArt Diarylide Yellow.
Shade with DecoArt Pyrrole Orange.
Allow to dry competely.
Adhere finished Pyrrole Pumpkin to pattern paper, trim.
Set to one side.
"BOO Letters"Paint the "B" with DecoArt Media Yellow Green Light
Shade Phthalo Green-Yellow.
Allow to dry completely.
Paint "O" with DecoArt Diarylide Yellow.
Shade with DecoArt Pyrrole Orange.
Allow to dry competely.
Stencil BOO letters using Americana Pixelated Stencil, DecoArt Carbon Black and stencil brush.
Next adhere the Diarylide Yellow Pumpkin.
Adhere a small plastic mouse in the eyes.
Last, adhere the Cadmium Orange Hue Pumpkin to the top of the stack.
Adhere the BOO letters to the plaque along with another plastic mouse.
Paint a die cut "Haunted" using DecoArt Media Medium Grey Value.
Allow to dry completely.
Do a wash of the Yellow Green Light over "Haunted".
Allow to dry completely.
Shade in Naphthol Red Light.
Allow to dry completely.
Using a Sakura Pigma Micron #8 Pen to do line work.
Adhere "Haunted" to plaque.
Add another plastic mouse.
Paint leaves using DecoArt Media Phthalo Green-Yellow and Naphthol Red Light.
Allow them to dry completely.
Add leaves to each of the pumpkins along with twisted wire.
