Garden Go Green Box - Art With Heart Challenge

Wow can you believe it is March...and the "Art With Heart Challenge" is up a running, so make sure to stop by the Eileen Hull's Blog to check out all the details. I made a sweet Garden Box using several of Eileen Hull's wonderful dies.
I began by cutting out 3 of the canister sides and two bottoms from the Canister Die. Using your scissors cut the larger area off of die cut and save strips.
Lay the two uncut die cut side by side and using your strips you set to one side to connect and support your die cut together. Glue together. Add the other two pieces you cut off from the extra die cut and glue to seam. Turn over.
Glue the bottom ends to each side of die cut. Spray with Deco Art Yellow Green Mister...
Spray again with Deco Art Primary Yellow Mister, dab of access.
Allow the mist to dry completely and then stamp with your favorite background stamp.
Add Deco Art Gesso Media to your box, while wet...
Add red embossing powder...IMPORTANT allow the gesso to set before heat setting the embossing powder. (I seen this technique on the Tim Holtz blog using paste)
Form Box and add ball legs that have been painted.
Die cut a watering can from the Watering Can Die. Follow the above directions for the box that include Deco Art Mist. Stamp Heart and Berries Stamp to both sides of watering can and paint in with Deco Art Red Cadmium Red Paint. Add Deco Art Gesso paint to watering can using stencil and palette knife, let dry and form watering can. Glue to edge of box.
Fill with green moss, greenery, flowers and other random items.
Die cut flowers from Eileen Hull's Window Box Die...love these flowers. Using your mat and stylus, roll, and form flowers. Add gemstones.
Add these gorgeous flowers here and there in your box. Add a sweet embellishment to the front.
I had to add this garden gnome to my box...he is just so ugly he is cute, lol. I used the Kitchen Label Die to add a fun sign to the Garden Box.
Well, I hope you love my Garden "Go Green" Box and play along with us on the Art With Heart Challenge, I can't wait to see what you create.
