Back to School Memo Block

Can you believe it is already time to go back to school!!!! Today inspiration is a Back to School Memo Block. I am always looking for my memo pads and I thought the Artist on the Block would make a great functional container for them and easy for me to spot on my desk.
I took two of the scoreboards and glued them together but first cut one of the sides into a triangular shape making sure to leave a bit of the flap so you will be able to glue to the other side piece. I used a smaller Artist on the Block to create my pen box and adhered it to the side once I had it and the side decorated with paper.
I found these little chalkboard at out local craft store and thought it would be perfect for my Back to School Memo Box.
I love to fussy cut and Graphic 45 ABC Primer is a perfect selection of paper for my project. So my tags, books and little girls are all from the paper. I added random metals pieces and twine to my project along with some apple legs to complete the Back to School Memo Box.
So I hope you think out of the box on how to use the Scoreboard Die from Eileen Hull/Sizzix to make some wonderful functional projects for your home or office.   Don't forget to stop by The Artists on the Block Blog to see other inspiring projects.
