Challenge #13on the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog is all about Upcycling!!! My favorite thing to do!!!! The challenge over the next two weeks is to upcycle something from your hoards of junk...well at least use some of your hoard.
I had a box I bought three years ago that I bought at our local craft store hidden away in my stash. So I sprayed it using Tattered Angels so it would not be an unfinished box plus it was easier than painting.
I covered it in lots of Canvas Corp paper and added lots of flowers BUT first....
I used an image from Crafty Secrets that I placed on to a doily using pop dots.
Don't you love "Dream without fear. Love without limits" tag from Canvas Corp. I thought it worked perfectly with my box. I added some fun metal legs, key and handle to finish it off. I hope you were inspired my upcycle box and I look forward to seeking what you will be upcycling and every challenge should have a prize and here is the one for Challenge #13, so I hope you can join us but first check out the rules HERE!!!

ReplyDeleteStunning! I love a decorated box and you used all my favorite colors. That image is adorable! I also spray stuff a lot rather than paint the items because the spray dries way faster. hee hee
