A Special Day To Celebrate with We R Memory Keepers Trim and Score Board

A Special Day to Celebrate is a layout out that was shared on HSN using the Trim and Score Board from We R Memory Keepers. What an amazing tool...you not only can cut but score also, just have to love a tool that you can use for several different applications.

I used the We R Memory Keepers Hip Hip Hooray Collection for my layout and made some cute accordion flowers using the Trim and Score Board. I cut 1" x 12"  strips of paper,  scored on the 1/4" line and then folded the strip up to create the flowers. When placed on my layout I place an Enamel Dot and Shape in the center.  Do you notice the green background paper? I created it by first cutting my paper using the trimmer and then scored it at a 1/2" both vertically and horizontally to give my plan paper a bit of texture. Don't you it gave my layout a fabulous look?

I love flags!!! To create these I cut different length of paper on my trimmer and instead of them just laying flat I scored them in the center, glued them at the score line  and placed them on my layout so they would stay up on the sides.
