Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #9 with World Win Papers and Stencil Girls

Challenge #9 Fold It is all about Folds.... all you need to do is use some sort of "fun fold" on your project. You can make a fun fold card, a pop-up card, an explosion box, or other type of project that makes use of folded cardstock or paper. You can share some folding techniques that are perfect for scrapbook layouts or mixed media pieces. Create a mini album with a folded binding. Fold some ribbon to make pleats.. so lets de-hoard those supplies and show us your folds....paper folds that is! Can't wait to see what you create for Challenge #9. Here is my Hello Friend Card using folds....
I made my card by first folding a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" Ultimate Cream Card Stock from World Win Papers, cutting it to 7 1/2" when I had the paper folded. Once I had my card folded and cut to size, I covered the front with some of the pretty pink paper from Botanical Tea Collection, folded the front over to form a triangle and adding a piece of the green paper from the collection to the top....carefully punching your triangle with the scallop punch.
Punched a circle from the World Win Ultimate Cream Card Stock using my 3 1/2" circle punch, using my Spun Sugar Distress Ink and Stencil Girl Stencil distress the stencil and placed it on the front of my card. I used one of my sentiments from my Memories Stamp Set from SinCity Stamps on my cards circle I had prepared. I added swirly brown twine and fussy cut images from the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea papers to decorate the front of my card with.
On the right fold I placed some more of the beautiful paper and a journal block...
Along with some of the flags from the Botanical Embellish Die Cut sheet and some fussy cut flowers I rolled to give them dimension.
Using Stencil Girls Stencil, Spun Sugar Distress Ink and an applicator I created the inside of my card. Once I had the depth I wanted with the ink I added my scallop border and journal blog...journal block are so great to write you messages on and so pretty also.
I place a small paper clip to the right side to hold the card together. I hope you are inspired by my folded project and I would encourage you to check out World Win Papers along with Stencil Girls to be inspired by their fabulous projects and don't forget to check out our amazing Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog Design Team.
