Couture Creations Design Team Applications Round 2

I am super excited to announced that I made it to Round 2 of the Couture Creations Design Application Process. We were asked to make a new project using an embossing folder, nesting dies, and if possible to use Core'dination papers. Well, I am using another companies embossing folder as well as a competitors dies since I am sad to say that I haven't any Couture Creations products in my stash...hard to believe since they are so beautiful.
I made my Best Wishes Card for my project with a little tutorial to go along with it.
First, I gathered all of my supplies.
I cut a piece of the Core'dinations Kraft Distress paper to fit inside my embossing folder

Making sure that it was lined up well before you run it  through your die cut machine so you capture all of the detail of the folder.
Once my embossed paper was taken from the machine, I used my sanding block to expose the inner core of the Core'dination paper.
I placed my dies on my paper and to make sure that they didn't move around I used a bit of Washi tape to hold them into place. (Washi tape will not hurt your project and removes easily)
I then placed the top mat over my dies and fed it through my die cut machine.
I love to fussy cut, so I cut a couple of butterflies from a sheet of the paper that was in the pack. Added a bit of glue to the center of the butterfly with the antennas and placed the the second butterfly to the middle after I tip the wings up.
Here is a closer look at the butterfly I placed next to the Best Wishes I had stamped on the embossed die cut.
I wrapped the die cut and made a fancy bow to place on the lower left corner and placed to the the card front with pop dots. I placed a few stick pins into the bow to give my card that finished look.
I hope you enjoyed my entry for round 2 of the Couture Creations Design Application Process and take time to check out their site and store. Hugs Pammejo
