It is hard to believe that Easter is only a few days away but I thought I would share with you the Easter letters that I altered with Graphic 45 "Once Upon a Springtime" Collection. All I can say is thank goodness I came across this paper collection because I have had these letters in my stash for at least 6 years waiting for that perfect paper and I believe this is it. By the way my letters are 5" tall and I paid $3 for them on the clearance rack. What a great buy, don't you think.
Like I always say I love, love making roly poly flowers and fussy cutting. So that is exactly what I did for my letters.
Here is a closer look at the flowers but notice my sweet pin, my friend Pam - refer to most as the Good Pam, Pam made it for me this weekend while we were cropping and I think it fit in perfectly on my letter. Thanks "Good" Pam.
I added a journal piece to the "A" to give the letter some more depth, fussy cut the fairy out, added some Crystal Stickles and some Glossy Accent to the dots on the wings.
I made my pearls look like they were being poured out of her hand.
I had to add some scallop circles to the "T" because the momma bunny and babies just got lost in the flowers but I think it gave a nice look to the letter.
I found this fun Prima Locket so I just had add it to my "T", placed a fairy inside of it along with some Glossy Accent, wrapped around the letter with some brown twine and tied a bow.
I just love this paper, did I say that. The bunnies and fairies just came to life and I can see why it is called "Once Upon a Springtime".
I continued with pearls through each of the letter and on this one I just added them to each scallop of the circle, added a tag and a GCD butterfly brad to the bottom. I hope you enjoyed my letters and I encourage you to keep an eye out for anything that you might be inspired to alter. Hugs Pammejo
Oh Pam, these turned out so beautifully. I saw you working on them at the crop and loved them. That G45 spring paper is so pretty, and what a good choice for your letters. It's so perfect for the theme, and your fussy cutting and roly poly flowers are well worth all the work. Just gorgeous. You make me want to go find some letters to decorate!
