Storage Tuesday with Buttons....WINNER, WINNER, WINNNER!!!!!

BUTTONS, BUTTONS, WHO HAS BUTTONS....
Have you ever wondered how to store your buttons well.... this summer I bought a spice rack, not any spice rack but one that spins. I separated my buttons out by color and place them in these bottles and returned them to the rack.
My spice rack hold 12 bottles and because it goes up vertically it doesn't take up much space on my bench.
Now you say well what do I do with the really large buttons. I found this 1/2 pint jars, but the only thing I do different is just keep the colors mixed. They are much easier to handle than the smaller buttons so I didn't see a need to separate them. I can stack these or leave them separated on my desk. They are small and of course don't take up much room either
And now to answer your last question about taking them to crops. I got these tiny storage containers at the $ Store. I place my buttons by color just like I do for my spice rack jars. I always keep these in my "crop bag" then I never have to remember to pack buttons to go to a crop. I call these "My To Go Buttons". I hope you have enjoyed my idea on storing and traveling with buttons.
Now on to my giveaway for the Birthday Bash Bloggerversary of Nicole and Meighan it is a Making Memories Flower Stamp set and with out further waiting the Winner is ...... #47 Theresa-Holy cow!! 2. Well first...Thanks so much!!! Second, this is a great storage idea. I have a really small craft space, so space is at a premium. I took an idea from a home improvement site and had my hubs screw jar lids to the underside of a shelf and then I screw the jars into the lids. I used baby food jars so they don't hang too low. It looks colorful and cute, is easy access, and keeps them out of my way. Thanks again for all the super ideas.
