Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas-Day 3

Here is my take on Tag 3 of the Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas, I am so glad that we are able to use what we have to make our interpretation of the tag. I am using a bird that I got from Paper Patch Crafts -it is a stamp from Kaisercraft. I stamped it and colored it in with my Copic R24, R27 and R28. When I had it colored in I added Rock Candy to the top of it.
My postage Stamp is from Graphic 45 Vintage Christmas along with the music paper from another Graphic 45 collection. For my flower I punched out two 1 1/2" and one 1" circle, misted them with water, waded them up and then open them up, shaped them and allowed them to dry. After they were dried I inked them with Pumice Distress ink. I added a brad from SEI to the top of the postage stamp. My branch stamp is Scrappy Stamp Vine Flourish. I forgot to add my memo pin before I took my photo but will be adding it, I think it makes an awesome touch and I have them on hand.

Here are the supplies that Tim Holtz used to make his tag. I always try to post his supply list that way a person knows what they will need and how I changed mine up. Most of the distress inks, paints, etc I have used.
Supplies: (ranger) craft sheet, distress ink/bundled sage/forest moss/peeled paint/walnut stain/vintage photo, adirondack paint dabber/snow cap, adirondack alcohol ink/red pepper/watermelon, ink blending/applicator tool, distress stickles/rock candy, glossy accents, mini mister, archival ink/jet black, #8 tag; (idea-ology) grungeboard, tissue tape/symphony, accoutrements/fanciful, salvage stickers/seasonal, trimmings, memo pin, tiny attacher, sanding grip; (tonic) scissors, distresser; (stampers anonymous) winter sketchbook stamp set, letters to santa stamp set, speckle wood mount stamp; (sizzix alterations) caged bird bigz die; (misc)tinsel, circle punch, moss

  1. I love your tag! I've been following along with 12 Tags but haven't been able to play yet. Maybe this weekend. :)

    Cheers,
    Susan
