Comfort and Joy Advent Calendar with Eileen Hull Designs


Comfort and Joy!!!
Advent Calendar!!!
It is never too early to start planning special projects and activities for advent! 
I hope you enjoy this year Advent Calendar that I created using. Eileen Hull Designs Field Notes and SpecimenEnvelope Folder and Flowers Thinlit Dies and Sunflower Die #666045 using 

Begin by cutting 4 of the Field Notes and Specimen from chipboard, cover with red card stock. 
Lay two prepared pieces upside down add a piece of white card stock to back to hold them in place. 
Sand edges with sand block. 
Die cut two of binds using Full Size Journal bind. Cover with red card stock. Adhere prepared back to prepared side pieces to form advent box. 
(HINT: Add small brads to Advent box before decorating inside. This should be done prior to decorating outside of Advent Box)


Cut 24 small envelopes using Envelope Folder and Flowers Thinlit Die.
Form envelopes. 


Punch border strips from pattern paper; add to each side of bind. 
Add 5 prepared envelopes to inside left part of Advent Box. 


Apply rub on to inside of Advent Box. 


Decorate with Ephemera inside. 
Add small strip of pattern paper to inside of bind to create a uniform look. 


Continue adding prepared envelopes, ephemera and rubons on the back and right cover. 


Trim numbers ticket to size; add to top of envelope. 
Make sure to leave room for invisible Velcro pieces. 


Add Velcro pieces to each envelope to create an easy way to open each envelope. 
Fill each gift card with special Bible verses, small gift items, candy etc. 




Use a large Ephemera piece for Day 25. 
Add to right inside cover with pop dots. 


Add tag to inside of Ephemera piece. 
Great place to add a hidden gift card. 



Adhere pattern paper to outside covers. 


Use label for enclosure. 
Add a holiday rub-on to inside part of label. 
Adhere doily ephemera to cover before adding prepared label.  


(HINT: Add small brads to Advent box before decorating inside. This should be done prior to decorating outside of Advent Box)
Add Ephemera to front of box. 



Die cut flowers using Sunflower Die; layer together. 
Add to front of Advent Box. 
Die cut and add leaves from Festive Gatherings
Add small metals to inside of flowers. 
Add bow. 



This is a super easy Advent Calendar and hope you give it a try this Advent Season.

Fall and Halloween Easel Cards with Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team


HAPPY OCTOBER!!!
So hard to believe how fast the year is speeding by.
BUT... that brings us to fun holiday seasons and creating!!!
WHAT BETTER WAY THAN to start the holiday season but to create easel cards using Eileen Hull newest and older dies! 
The above cards are using the same dies, but each give unique looks. 
I will be loading individual cards on my YouTube Channel...


Happy Fall Easel Card
Supplies: 
Eileen Hull/Sizzix 660766 Embroidery Hoop Die
Farmhouse Collection
Authentique Fall Collection
Jute
Tiny Stapler


Die cut pattern paper using Embroidery Hoop Die.
Trim crescent edges off inside circle. 
Add from to cardstock to give stability. 
Fussy cut around outside edge of hop to remove excess paper. 


Layer cut pieces to inside of prepared hoop to create a pumpkin. 


To create easel card base; cut one Field Notes and Specimen cover using pattern paper. 
Fold in half. 
Fold one half in half again. 
Add prepared pumpkin to top. 


Decorate bottom using die cut pieces from the Envelope Folders and Flower Die.


Decorate top of pumpkin using die cuts from Envelop Folder and Flower Die and Ephemera. 
Add jute to top of stem. 


To create the easel so it stands up add Ephemera sentiments, bits and pieces or other items using pop dots. This part just needs to be lightly raised so the front of the card has a place to rest. 


WICKED EASEL CARD

Supplies: 
Eileen Hull/Sizzix 660766 Embroidery Hoop Die
Eileen Hull/Sizzix 664511 Snowman Die
666166 Liquid Effects
Tim Holtz TH94251 Backdrop Halloween Paper
Tim Holtz TH94352 Ephemera Pack
Spider Metal Charms
Goggle Eyes
Jute


Create Easel part of the card using above directions. 
Create pumpkin using embroidery hoop as with above directions.
(Ink edges to give a more distress look.)
Add ephemera to base of card to create easel. 


Add decorative paper to back of easel. 


Die cut snowman using pattern paper. 

Flip die cut snowman to and cut again; this will form the base for the goggle eyes. 


Adhere google eyes to punch circle. 
Add to google eye base you created. 
Add snowman top hat to of pumpkin. 


Die cut heart from the Envelop Folder and Flowers Die. 
Cut bottom of heart off to for nose. 
Add mouth pieces from die cuts of Snowman Scarf trimmed. 


Decorate Wicked Pumpkin using flowers and dies from Envelope Folder and Flowers Die. 
Decorate with Ephemera





In Everything Give Thanks Easel Card

Supplies: 
660766 Embroidery Hoop Die
664511 Snowman Die
Farmhouse Collection
Authentique Collection


Die cut Embroidery Hoop but leave the center alone for the turkey base. 
Form Embroidery Hoop
Die cut snow form using Snowman Die; add to bottom of hoop. 


Die cut snowman body and arms to form turkey body. 
Add die cut two hearts for wattle and cut second heart to form a triangle for beak. 
Add to front of turkey.


Add snowman hat and goggle eyes to front of turkey. 
Add to front of card with pop dots. 


Die cut leaves from various colors of card stock. 
Pinch leaves with tweezers; add behind turkey body. 


Die cut leaves add to front of turkey for form wings. 


Decorate around edge bottom with die cut flowers and leaves. 
Add Ephemera. 
Add jute bow. 
Add die cut flower and leaves to the hats brim. 


Add Ephemera pieces to bottom of card base using pop dots. 
Enjoy creating Easel Cards this holiday season!!!

Warm Winter Wishes with Eileen Hull Inspiration Team


Warm Winter Wishes!!!
What a fun way to create either a scrapbook layout or even frame for a home decor piece of your very own home!!!
 OR...
Create a gift for a friend or family home. 
You will find all products used linked to Scrapbook.com in the supply list. 
BUT...

Adhere 8" paper doily to center of pattern paper. 
Place photo in the corner of the paper doily.
Die cut multiples of the houses, layer bits of pieces behind the windows and door to create depth.
Cut some apart, layer with pop dots, stagger them out to create those layers.  


Add Warm Winter Wishes randomly around the outside of the paper doily. 


Die cut envelope from pattern paper; add trimmed down tickets to inside. 
Add to layout. 


Decorate with die cut flowers and leaves. 


I hope you are inspired to use all of Eileen's fabulous dies in your scrapbook pages and home decor pieces.
