Love is A Wonderful Thing with Southern Ridge Trading Company

Hi Southern Ridge Trading Company Fans!!! Are you getting excited to creating your Valentines projects? It is a wonderful time of the year to share a bit of love ... I will be sharing how to create quick and easy candy bags using Southern Ridge Trading Company chipboard hearts and butterflies! 

Begin by scoring a 4 3/4" x 11" piece of pattern paper at the 5" and 6" marks on you scoreboard.

Adhere one of Southern Ridge Trading Company Shrubbery Heart Frame to front of scored pattern paper.

Fussy cut around the inside of Southern Ridge Trading Company Shrubbery Heart Frame using precision scissors and xacto knife.

Adhere acetate to inside of cut out Southern Ridge Trading Company Shrubbery Heart Frame.

Fill small plastic bag with favorite candy.

Fold prepared front of pattern paper to back at score lines to create candy bag. Staple at top.

Create top package flap by scoring a 2" x 4 3/4" piece of pattern paper in half.

Staple to top of prepared candy bag with stapler.

Decorate flap and front with pieces form paper collection. Add twine bows to heart banner.

Apply Blue Mojitos Rock Candy to top of Southern Ridge Trading Company Butterfly. Add to front of prepared candy bag with pop dots. Enjoy Pam

Bountiful Gratitude Boxes and Cards with Authentique

Are you looking forward to the holidays!!! Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc. Do you love creating special moments, special memories during the year.  Today I am sharing my Bountiful Gratitude Boxes and Cards that I created for my Thanksgiving table sets but they would be a fabulous addition for any celebration or occasion. It is a fun way for my family and friends to write a few things that they are grateful for and to have a nice keepsake box to take home that I will have some special treats in.

Begin by first die cutting the Sizzix die from mat board and pattern paper from the Bountiful Collection.

Add brown wire twine around the seams and top with glue gun.

Die cut doily and scallop from pattern paper using die.

Add sticker from the Bountiful Sticker Sheet to the front with pop dots.

Hot glue flowers and die cut leaves to front of prepared box.

Add wire twist handle and metal cap to front of box.

Glue small bow to handle.

Create a 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" card to place inside of the prepared Gratitude Box.

Adhere pattern paper from the Bountiful Collection to the top of card along with a border strip.

Add one of the hinge stickers from the Bountiful Sticker Sheet to top of card with some small gemstones.

Add one of the sentiment  stickers to front with pop dots.

Die cut one of the leaves from the Bountiful pattern paper, add to front of card with pop dots.
