Mixed Media World Fair Flower Pocket Wall Plaque

I love home décor pieces! I created my Mixed Media World Fair Plaque as one of my Graphic 45 projects for Graphic 45 Design Team Call  a little over 2 years ago. I was so honored when I was selected to become a part of the team and spent 2 years with them. This year a whole new team was selected so make sure to check them out over on the Graphic 45 Blog.

Die cut Flower Pocket from chipboard and pattern paper; form chipboard flower pockets. Add pattern paper to formed pocket, ink edges with brown ink.

Paint chipboard pieces with Deco Art Media Paint and apply Metallic Lustre to top of chipboard pieces.

Paint edges with DecoArt Media paint and cover with pattern paper. Apply Metallic Lustre to sides of plaque.

Emboss chipboard pieces with Stampendous Rust Encrusted. Apply Metallic Lustre to top of prepared chipboard.

Adhere fussy cut images from pattern paper and chipboard pieces to plaque.

Add fussy cut pieces to extend above the plaque and off the sides for added dimension.

Hope you are inspired to create yourself or a friend a mixed media World Fair Plaque or some other home décor piece using the same techniques. Pam
