Midnight Masquerade Party Invitation with Xyron and Swingline

Disclaimer Notice: I’ve received products/compensation as part of the Xyron Design Team. This project however, is 100% my own project! Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. I explain more HERE!

Hi to all my Xyron Fans!!!
I am so excited to share with you the Swingline Classic Cut Light Guillotine Trimmer and Swingline Stapler that I used to create my "special"  Midnight Masquerade Party Invitation.  The Swingline Classic Cut Light Guillotine Trimmer is such a precise and easy to use trimmer; light weight and easy to trim with since it has large and easy to read measurements on the guillotine. My "special" Midnight Masquerade is filled with layer of borders, journal pieces and tags that were cut with precision using the Swingline Classic Cut Light Guillotine Trimmer.

Photo 1 - Use the Swingline Classic Cut Light Guillotine Trimmer to cut down the Kraft card stock to measure 12" x 9"
Photo 2 - Score at the 4" and 8" score lines using scoring board.

Photo 3 - Cut 6 pieces of pattern paper using the Swingline Classic Cut Light Guillotine Trimmer to measure 3 7/8" x 8 7/8".
Photo 4 - run cut pieces through the Creative Station using the 9" permanent adhesive.
Photo 5 - Apply paper to top of scored Kraft card stock.

Photo 6 - Mark 4" from the bottom of one side of the prepared Kraft card stock. Place on the Swingline Classic Cut Light Guillotine Trimmer and trim from the first fold line to the 4" mark.
Photo 7 - Save the trimmed pieces to use for pockets.

Photo 8 - Trim the larger section of the saved piece at score line. Staple ribbon to side with Swingline Stapler; adhere pocket to front of card front.
Photo 9 - Staple another piece of ribbon to the back panel of card using the Swingline Stapler.

Decorate each panel of invitation using Xyron Tape Runner.

Adhere chipboard pieces to front of invitation with pop dots.

Add a pocket on the center panel of card along with borders and fussy cut pieces from the pattern paper.

Fussy cut mask from the pattern paper; adhere to small skewers. Place inside of pocket with journal block so the recipient can re-use them on another project...like a scrapbook page, planner, etc. Add twine bows to the bottom of each mask.

Back of panel add pocket along with border strips. Place party invitation and RSVP inside of pocket.

Add "Mysterious" sentiment to the top of panel with pop dots.

Back of card

Wrap ribbon around card; use Velcro enclose to hold ribbon in place on card.

Add matching ribbon to chipboard piece; add over Velcro ribbon with pop dots to hide Velcro enclosure.

Add small pocket to back of card over the ribbon. Fill with small matching tags in pocket for later use for the recipient of the invitation.

I hope you are inspired to grab your favorite Xyron products along with Swingline products to create some "special" party invitations in the future.
