The Most Wonderful Time Of They Year with Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team and DCWV Cranberry Christmas

It's "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year"...
It is time to think of about Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!
The month of November Eileen's Inspiration Team will be sharing with you fabulous projects using DCWV papers...make sure to join us all month long.

So today I am sharing with you a beautiful card and gift box idea using some of DCWV Cranberry Christmas Premium Paper Pad along with Eileen Hull's fabulous dies from Sizzix.

I just love the Lacy Doily Die and wanted to really show case how to make a unique card using it.

I began by die cutting two of the Lace Doily using the DCWV Cranberry Christmas pattern paper.

I have the wonderful Xyron Creative Station...and it makes adding adhesive to intrigue pieces so easy.

Add adhesive to both Lacy Doily that you cut out.

Fussy cut around one and add the other to the front of you card base.

Fussy cut around the piece that was added to the front of the card.

Add the second prepared piece to the back side of the first.

When glued together.
Add ribbon by stapling it in to place.

Fussy cut around die cut and place over staples with pop dots.

Add pattern paper to inside of card.
Fussy cut bird image out and place on inside.

Add "Merry Christmas" piece to card.

Fussy cut a second bird out and place it on to the first one with pop dots.

Form each piece using tweezers, stylus and soft mat.
Layer all the Pansy flower pieces together, add brad.
Glue to front of prepared card front.

Tie a bow to close card.

I created a pretty box to place my card along with a gift card in.

I began with a candy box that I had saved.

I ran my pattern paper through the Xyron Creative Station.
Placed it on the box front and sides.

Die cut Lacy Doily out from the DCWV Cranberry Christmas.

Form a cone and glue.
Thread silver ribbon through the top.

Add one of the tags from the DCWV Cranberry Christmas Premium Pad; tie a silver bow to the tag.

Add cone to top of box.
Tie the silver ribbon into a bow.

Die cut the small petal from Pansy Flower Die.
Form flowers using tweezers, stylus and mat.
Layer together with brad.
Glue into cone along with flower pick greens.

Decorate the sides of box with strips of matching paper and small circle punches.

Place small tan twine ribbon.
(When the gift has been open you will have an ornament keepsake to have throughout the years.)

I hope you have enjoyed the tutorial for my "Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" Card and Gift Box using a couple of Eileen Hull's fabulous dies from Sizzix along with DCWV Cranberry Christmas Premium Paper Pad.
I hope you are inspired to make some vintage floral cones for decorations or ornaments.
