Party Invitations using Eileen Hull's Block Dies

WOW...
Can you believe it is May!!!
School will be letting out soon, there will be vacations and parties...
Lots of celebrating.
SO...
I wanted to do a re-share of a Fourth of July invitation I created using the

REMEMBER...
the Block Dies from Sizzix come in smaller sizes.
SO....
You can make the invitations in different sizes.
Begin by first cutting the block with matboard, form block, cover with Graphic 45 Place in Time.
(I love to use Graphic 45 papers because of all the quick and
fun embellishments that they have to go along with their papers.)

 BUT...
Of course I also love metals, wood, ribbon, etc.
I used the metal clock and wood pieces on the sides of my invitation.
Create a little flag using small strips of paper.
Glue them just under the metal hanger.
Add small wood stars and people to finish one side of invitation.
Fill the invitation with tissue paper that has been cut up using Martha Stewart multi blade scissors.
Write on one of the Place in Time Journal pieces "You're Invite".
Glue invite to small skewer; add to inside of invitation.
Add extra tags and embellishments to a skewers; place them in box so they peek out.
Here is a closer look at the front of my Fourth of July invitation.
I hope you enjoyed my invitation and think about how you can use
the Scoreboard Die from Eileen Hull/Sizzix to make some easy and fun invitations.
