Swimming with the Turtles Sends Smiles to Kids... with Stampendous

Saturday the Stampendous Team shared cards that were being sent to children who are inpatients in Children's Hospitals across the country.
Send A Smile 4 Kids Challenge Blog is a great organization dedicated to making children feel special.
I began by first layering mats on my card front.
Apply Dreamweavers Embossing Paste using palette knife to top of pattern paper
using stencil from Pearl Mermaid Stamp Set.
Keeping stencil on card front, sprinkle embossing powder over the top...
Spread out using the palette knife.
Heat set.
Border punch pattern paper with Bubble Border Punch.
Adhere to top of card front.
Stamp turtle from Pearl Mermaid stamp set on to pattern paper using black ink.
Color with Spectrum Aqua Markers.
Corner punch corners of prepared images.
Die cut frame from pattern paper.
Adhere prepared turtle to top.
Adhere both to top of card front.
I hope my Swimming with the Turtles puts a smile on some child's face.
AND...

  2. Ohhh so elegantly fun and what lovely colors too. The card just has this up scale flair that makes it look uniquely elegant but your turtle just makes me smile Pam. So great for almost any type person too. This was a treat to see. Xj.
