Art with a Heart June Challenge: Summer Fun With Sizzix

It is all about "Summer Fun with Sizzix" Challenge this month on Eileen Hull's Inspiration Blog...with that being said, I created a Honeymoon Vintage Trailer center piece. Well, I actually created it to use as a centerpiece for a shower I hosted this last weekend. I have to tell you the Bride to Be loved it and she took it home with her...lol.
June is all about Fun, Sun, Sand, Weddings, Graduations, Vacation, etc so the sky is the limit on what to create with your dies...so I hope you create something and link it up on Eileen Hull's Inspiration Challenge Blog.
To begin the Vintage Honeymoon Trailer you will need to form the base. Cut two of the Vintage Canister Dies out, taking one set of sides and cutting it in half. Form both Vintage Canisters by adhering the sides together and placing two bottom die cuts on each end. (I used small pieces of left over mat board to put them together and set the canister tops to one side for a project in the future.)
Die Cut the Vintage Trailer using mat board and form. Paint both the Vintage Trailer and Canister Base with DecoArt Escape Chalkboard Paint. (Perfect name for the paint since it is summer, lol)
Once the paint has dried decorate both the trailer and base with pattern paper. (I added a door, window, a "Do Not Disturb Sign", border punch to the front of my Vintage Trailer)  Place Vintage Trailer on top of the Canister Base. Decorate with some fun accessories. (I added birds, flowers, teal tulle, a border die, pearl gemstones.)
I add several of these little Tattered Roses that I made using the Sizzix Pinecone Die...did I tell you I made 4 dozen roses...that is 48 of these sweet babies, 48!!!! Lol, I used them on all my pieces I made for the shower I hosted. (If you want to see more of those pieces...I am sharing them all week here on the my blog)
I added a fun sign to the a skewer and hot glued it to the Canister Base.
I painted my little Adventure Sign with DecoArt Burnt Umber Mixed Media Paint and placed it on the front of the Canister Base along with more of the roses and silk flowers. Well, I hope you were "inspired" by my Honeymoon Vintage Trailer and join us for the Fun in the Sun Inspiration Challenge this month. Don't forget to stop by the Eileen Hull Inspiration Blog to be inspired by the Inspiration Team, I know they always inspire me. Hugs Pammejo
