Artful Canister with Eileen Hull's Canister Die

I am just loving Eileen Hull's Canister Die...it is so cool and you can do so many thing with it.
I wanted to share one of my favorite projects using the Artful Mixed Media Canister using the  to Kitchen Canister #15181 Die.
I just love the Kitchen Canister #15181 Die!!!
I have made so many things with it from storage containers, candy dishes, desk organizers, gift boxes, etc.
I think it is one of the most versatile dies out there.
You can create it at the regular height, cut it down at the top to make stair step canisters, leave them open, add the lid.
Die cut out the sides for lanterns.
OH MY...
I could go on and on and on why I love the Kitchen Canister #15181 Die .

I began my Artful Canister by first cutting out the Kitchen Canister , adding some tissue tape randomly to all four sides. Spray each side with water, spray mist from four different mists, dab off with paper towel, allow to dry before doing next side.

I stamped a Dragonfly on two sides using Black Indian Ink and embossed clear embossing powder over the top.

Here is a closer look at the dragonfly vine side of the canister..
I used apply paste and Gold Embossing Powder.
ALLOW the paste to dry completely and then heat set the embossing powder..it leaves a fabulous look.

One the opposite sides I used the Stamper Anonymous Classic #1 set, continuing with the gold embossed paste. REMEMBER to let each side dry completely between steps.

Repeat with the Kitchen Canister lid.
I stained some seam binding using Worn Lipstick and Fired Red Distress Stain and added it to the top next to my handle.
Add random metals and chippies to your canister to complete the look.
I hope you have enjoyed my Kitchen Canister  and try making yourself one with Eileen fabulous Kitchen Canister .
Hugs Pam
