My Studio and Storage Tips with Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog

Today on the Craft Hoarders Challenge Anonymous Blog we are sharing our studios...oh my, it is very difficult to photograph when you have 4 walls full of stuff along with a closet but I am going to do my best to share with you some of my fun storage items. But first I want to share some of my cabinets...I love Ikea, so my studio is made up of their cabinets.
The best thing is that they fit my We R Memory Keepers Albums perfectly. CONTAINERS!!! I love containers, cloth, plastic, metal, glass...it doesn't matter...I love containers!!!! I picked my pink baskets and black totes up at Target...I have my We R Memory Keepers Punches in one, adhesive in another...two are filled with Sizzix Dies and a couple have 6x6 paper pads in them.
The black totes are filled to the brim with pieces to alter, sad thing is this isn't all of the pieces..
I love washi tape and wanted to have it where it was easy to get to, so when I found this pink bundt cake pan I thought it was perfect...if I keep buying washi tape I may have to rethink what I place them in, lol.
Here is one of my desk..always full of stuff. The large box looking thing at the window is where I take my photos...my husband made it since I have no white walls in my house and this works perfect for me. One day I hope to make curtains but it is hard to find material in distress yellow, pink and black...so I am always on the look out.
My Eclectica basket is a treasure...it came from one of two local scrapbook stores that close their doors last year...so make sure to remember to support your local stores. The little chair is 16 years old...it is one of the chairs that we bought for our oldest grandson...
Here is another wall in my room...my antique window was featured on Where Women Create last year...smile.
This little white cabinet was a trash to treasure, lol...but it made me a fabulous work station for my Silhouette..you know it is amazing how you use your tools if they are available for use...just saying.
Now my tip is storage...like I said earlier I love containers...this is how I keep my pattern paper. I keep each collection in page protectors and each manufacture in the same tubs, some have several different manufacturers where others just hold one manufacturers papers, embellishments, etc.
Here is how I store my brads and eyelets...you can find these in jewelry department at Hobby Lobby...
Art Bin has some fabulous containers...I use these for stains, paint, etc and have others for some of my stamps.
Iris tubs are at Michaels with inserts, oh my....love them to keep my metals separated and convenient to find.
This little jewel I just found at Michaels...thought it would be fabulous for my veneer pieces that I have fallen in love with.
I call this my ribbon container on the go...I remove my ribbon off the spools, wind them up and place in small jewelry bags, keep them separated by chipboard and color coordinated...I also have jars full of ribbon, lol, so this isn't all of it...
And I will finish with my closet....lol. Like I said I love these cabinets, tubs, containers, etc. the green tubs are full of Christmas paper and the orange is with Halloween and Fall papers...so easy to find. Hope you enjoyed seeing my studio and my the way I store some of multitudes of products.
