Inspired by Stamping August Release - Masculine Tags Stamp Set and Basic Background IV Stamp Set

Happy Birthday Card is using the new Inspired by Stamping Masculine Tags Stamp Set with the Basic Background IV Stamp Set....I used the fun mustache stamp to make my background for my card base but stamping once in the blue ink but stamping twice on the card stock, making sure to off set each time I stamped. The blue boarder was made from the new Inspired by Stamping Basic Background IV Stamp Set and blue ink. Once I had it stamped on my card stock I trimmed to form my strip. I stamped the sentiment from the Masculine Tag Stamp Set and place it on top of layers of pattern paper with pop dots.
I stamped several ties from the Masculine Tags Stamp set in yellow, red, and blue ink, trimmed them and made small flags to go under my sentiment.
For my second Happy Birthday Card....I stamped my background strips with red and yellow ink using the Basic Background IV Stamp Set, tearing the ends prior to placing them on my card base. I love Inspired by Stamping Fancy Label II die set and it work wonderful with the Masculine Tags Stamp Set.
Here is a closer look at the strips

  1. Clever, clever, clever! I love the little mustaches as a background, and the little ties as a fringe-y touch. Clever girl!

  2. OMG, these cards are a HOOT, especially that first one! The mustaches caused big grins on my face, and those ties as fringe are GENIUS! Love the torn strips and the background (diecut) paper on the second card. These are great!

  3. Fabulous Pam! Love the ties as the little flags, so clever :)

  4. oh Pam these are awesome!! love the ties for the flags and how you used the background stamps on the second one........thought it was washi tape that you used at first glance :)

  5. Love the use of the "faux" washi!!

  6. Great cards Pam! Love each of them! You are so inspiring!
