Daydream Mixed Media Canvas and Tutorial with ColorBox


Hi everyone! Do you daydream of making pretty things...well, today I am sharing a tutorial for my  Daydream Mixed Media Canvas using lots of ColorBox fabulous inks, molding mats used as stamp and art stencils to create a wonderful home décor piece!


Lay ColorBox Petals Art Screen on canvas; apply DecoArt White Gesso to top with palette knife. Dry. 


Paint chipboard doily with Deco Art White Gesso; dry. Adhere to top of canvas. 


Dilute ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Banana Premium Dye Ink with water in a ColorBox Spray Bottle. Spray prepared canvas; dry between applications. 


Adhere ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Simple Flowers Molding Mat to stamp block. Apply ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Ocean Premium Dye Ink to top of prepared molding mat; stamp canvas.


Repeat with ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Blueberry Premium Dye Ink. 


Adhere ColorBox Ornate Molding Mat to stamp block. Apply ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Chocolate Premium Dye Ink to prepared molding mat; stamp canvas. 
Adhere ColorBox/Jeannene Langford Molding Mat to stamp block with adhesive. Apply DecoArt White Gesso to top with paint brush; stamp canvas. Dry.  


Ink edges of chipboard and prepared canvas with ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Chocolate Premium Dye Ink.


Apply ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Ocean Premium Dye Ink to white card stock using ColorBox Stylus and Tip. Punch circle from prepared card stock. Lay ColorBox Petals Art Screen on top; apply ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Ocean Premium Dye Ink to top with ColorBox Stylus and Tip. Stamp sentiment and image from ColorBox Butterfly Clear Stamp Set using ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Chocolate Premium Dye Ink. Ink edges with ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Chocolate Premium Dye Ink. 


Apply prepared circle to top of chipboard doily.



Apply ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Banana, Ocean and Strawberry Premium Dye Ink to top of white card stock with ColorBox Stylus and Tip. Lay ColorBox Petal Art Screen to top of prepared card stock; apply ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Ocean Premium Dye Ink using ColorBox Stylus and Tip.  



Stamp butterflies from ColorBox Butterfly Clear Stamp Set with ColorBox/Stephanie Barnard Chocolate Premium Dye Ink. 


Fussy cut prepared butterflies.


Color the center of butterflies bodies with Teal Color Pencil. Add Diamond Glaze to body; dry. 


Adhere flowers and twine bow to canvas along with prepared butterflies. 


Adhere small metal charms to corners of canvas.

Little Cool Dude Mini Album wiht Authentique


Hi everyone! I am so happy you stop by to check out  my Little Cool Dude Mini Album using Authentique Youngster Collection! The Youngster Collection is just so perfect for all you cool dudes in your life. 


Adhere the beautiful Youngster pattern paper to the front of the cover; wrap ribbon around cover and tie in a bow. Fussy cut the "Little Cool Dude" Epherema card and add to front of cover with pop dots. Adhere flowers to front of cover along with twine bow and enamel dot. 


Adhere patter paper to inside cover along with fussy cut images. 


Page 1
Add photo mats to each page. 


Page 2 and 3
Along with pieces from the Youngster Elements Sheet. 


Page 3 and 4 
Form pockets on a few of the pages. 


To place tags inside. 


Hidden waterfall pages to create addition pages for photos or journaling. 


Page 5 and 6 
Fussy cut images from Youngster Epherema patter paper and layer with pop dots. 


Add smaller Youngster Elements to hold the waterfall pages closed. 


Page 7 and 8 


Page 9 and 10


Place tags or ATC cards inside of pocket.

Decorate back cover with Youngster Epherema Card 


Add tags.

Cherish Home Decor with ColorBox


Hi, ColorBox Fans! I'm sharing my Cherish Home Décor Frame! As we see winter becoming springtime and things coming to life it is time to Cherish everything around us. We see flowers blooming, birds building their nest, trees spring forth buds …. what better way to celebrate  "Joy"  but to create home décor pieces with your favorite ColorBox products from Clearsnap!


 Die cut egg and doily from chipboard. Apply ColorBox Golden ColorBox Blends to craft sheet; mist with water. Drag egg, doily and watercolor paper through wet mist. Dry.


Repeat Step #2 with ColorBox Melon Blends Ink; dry. 


Repeat Step #2 with ColorBox Bay Blends Ink; dry. 

Lay ColorBox Swirldot Art Screen on prepared watercolor paper. Apply Melon Colorbox Blend over top. 



Lay ColorBox Lattice Art Screen on prepared watercolor paper. Apply crackle paste over top with palette knife; dry. 


Stamp background image from ColorBox Butterfly Clear Stamp Set with ColorBox Ebony Blends Ink.


Paint wood frame with Black paint; dry. Repeat with crackle finish; dry. Repeat with crackle paste; dry. 


Apply ColorBox Melon Blend Ink to top of prepared frame. 


Add prepared watercolor paper to inside of prepared frame. 


Ink edges of prepared doily with ColorBox Bay Blends Ink. 


Adhere prepared doily to inside of frame.


Lay ColorBox Zig Zag Art Screen to top of prepared egg, apply ColorBox Melon to top.



Adhere prepared egg to inside of frame.



Adhere paper doily, flowers, leaves and bow to prepared frame.


Apply ColorBox Golden and Bay Blends Ink to white card stock. Stamp butterflies from ColorBox Butterfly Stamp Set; fussy cut butterflies out.


Paint "Joy" and "Cherish" chipboard with white paint; dry. Apply ColorBox Bay Blends Ink to top of prepared sentiments.  


Adhere small metal shell charm to butterfly body. Add butterfly to frame with pop dots along with adding prepared sentiments to frame. Finish Cherish Home Décor Frame with small metal corners.
