My Sunflower Forever Designer Paper Collection from Emerald Creek Crafts and extra-large paper clips. 

1. Cut paper on fold using larger nesting die, make sure the fold isn't inside the die, so it isn't cut open.

2. Adhere around the metal paper clip.  

 3. Cut nesting dies using card stock and designer papers. Creating layers as you go.

5. Add doilies to create depth. 

5.  Fussy cut images from Sunflower Forever Ephemera; add to top of prepared paper clip using adhesive dots. 

6. Add metal pieces to paper clip. 

7. Add natural twine or sewing thread to paper clips. 

Add Glossy Accent to center of sunflower for added dimension.

Day 19 - Christmas Cheer Mixed Media Tag

CHRISTMAS CHEER MIXED MEDIA TAG

Time to create tags... beautiful mixed media tags. 

Begin by die cutting pretty pattern paper using deckle dies. 

Layer together. 

Add Ephemera frames to top of prepared tag. 

Add bits and pieces of Ephemera foliage to tag. 

Add paper poinsettias to top of tag using pop dots. 

Add "Christmas Cheer" Sentiments to top of tag.

Add small flora poinsettias to tag along with white netting. 

Add small decorative button to tag. 

Add small Ideology deer and tree to create dimension. 

Finish with white and Brown paint splatters. Dry. 

Enjoy creating tags this holiday season and throughout the year.

Day 13 - Tis the Season Gift Card Folio

TIS THE SEASON GIFT CARD FOLIO

Gift cards...sigh are the hardest things for me to gift. 

I am always trying to find a fun and unique idea in gift giving. 

SO...

When I came across these cut folios from Ranger... 

my creative thoughts started racing.

Cut red card stock using a postage  die or rectangle die. 

Add to front of folio.

Add small folio that has been die cut to fit on previous cut to create a mat and dimension. 

Grab a fun Ephemera Bits and Pieces Kit...

I used Doodle Bug Designs Candy Cane Ephemera Kit. 

Add bits and pieces to front of folio.

Create a small hidden paper clip to match. 

Inside of folio...mimic the outside. 

Add gift card to inside.

 Add small car and sentiment with pop dots. 

I hope you find fun ways to give gift cards throughout the year.

Day 11 - Season's Greeting Repurpose Spiral Album

SEASON'S GREETING SPIRAL ALBUM

Are you like me and hoard mixed media albums waiting for that perfect project!

I found this 4 1/2  x 7" Spiral Album in my stash.

I thought Season's Greetings throughout the Christmas Season. 

Filling the pages with photos and journaling as I go through the Christmas Season. 

I used Tim Holtz Ideology Christmas 2023 Collection along with other Christmas bits and pieces in my stash. 

Begin by covering the front of album with pattern paper. 

Add crochet lace to border. 

Add sentiment plus the poinsettia flowers, tag and button to front. 

Add a small doily under sentiment. 

INSIDE COVER

Add photo frame to inside of cover along with pattern paper. 

FIRST PAGE

Add Ephemera to page. 

Glue poinsettia just on far-right edge in case you want to slide a photo under it. 

BACK OF FIRST PAGE

Add rub-ons on pages along with chipboard pieces and crochet lace. 

Add Glossy Accent to circles to give dimension. 

SECOND PAGE

Decorate photo pages with crochet lace, washi tape and pattern paper. 

Staple lace into place.

BACK OF SECOND PAGE

Add Ephemera pieces to photo pages. 

THIRD PAGE

Add fun borders and Ephemera.

Day 9 - Nostalgic Christmas Globe

NOSTALGIC CHRISTMAS GLOBE

Do you ever buy a craft item thinking this is really cool. 

I am going to make something really pretty with it. 

WELL... 

That is how I felt when I saw Heidi Swapp Globe many, many, many years ago. LOL

I started designing my own paper collections and when I did the Nostalgic Christmas Collection with Emerald Creek Craft Supplies....

 REMEMBERED THE GLOBE!!!

BELIEVE IT OR NOT....

IT IS SUPER EASY TO MAKE! 

Begin by painting the base with white paint. 

Add two small beads to base using hot glue.

(This will help stabilize the Nutcracker Ephemera)

Fussy cut Ephemera from the Nostalgic Christmas Collection. 

Add Nutcracker and Snowman to base. 

Add small dear, trees, wood rings to base. 

Mix paint and gel beads together.

Appy around pieces on base using a palette knife, Dry.

Adhere small band around base along with sentiment. 

Adhere black twine at top edge. 

Glue small beads on to base. 

Add globe to base. 

Create topper using poinsettia, bells, pinecones, knob, small trees around greed tinsel that has been formed into a wreath around a small wood ring. 

Add to top of globe. 

Add another small tree along with twine bow. 

Complete with small metal stars.

Enjoy creating unique and easy home decor this holiday season.
