Count Your Blessings Card and Pumpkin with Authentique and Lynda Kanase

Today is all about Counting Your Blessings!!!

I know some of us have a hard time seeing our blessing where others see them all around.

By each breath we take, each friend or family member we come in contact with is such a blessing!

Looking out at nature, seeing the eclipse the other day, watching birds in flight, etc. Those are all blessings and our blessings are Bountiful if we take time to look.

The Authentique Bountiful Collection Kit is a great reminder of just a few of the blessings we should look at...children playing, leaves being gathered and played in, pumpkins being gathered, etc.

I began my card by first distressing and inking some of the Bountiful pattern paper and layering them on to my 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Kraft Card Base. Fussy cutting the Count Your Blessing sentiment from the paper and adding it to the bottom of the card.

Adhere a border strip and sticker over the sentiment.

Die cut 3 of Lynda Kanase Succulent 2-D & 3-D from pattern paper; inking edges.

Layer pattern paper die cut pieces together.

Add sticker to top of third die cut.

Adhere sticker die cut to pattern piece layers.

Die cut stem from the Succulent 2-D & 3-D die.

Adhere to back of prepared pumpkin.

Adhere prepared pumpkin to top of card with pop dots.

Adhere leaf, twirly brown wire jute and twine bow to top of pumpkin.

Fussy cut second "Count Your Blessings" from pattern paper; add to top of card with pop dots.

Add sticker arrow to top of card.

Add flowers and bow to top of card.

Here is a closer look at the depth of the layers of Bountiful pattern paper, pumpkin, bow and flowers.

To create the pumpkin...cut 10 of the Succulent 2-D & 3-D Cactus from pattern paper.

Fold each piece in half and glue cactus together according to package directions.

Add sticker, prepared leaves, twine bow and twirly brown wire jute to top of pumpkin.
