Are you ready for the "Anything Goes Challenge" on the Emerald Creek Dare Blog...
I sure hope so...
We had so many inspiring projects from our last week that I can't wait to see what you come up with this time.
I created a fun "Life is a Dream Tag" using some fabulous embossing powder from Emerald Creek.
Begin by first die cut an XL Tag.
Lay the Crocodile Stencil over the top.
Apply Embossing Powder with Palette knife.
Sprinkle embossing powder over the top...going from lightest to darkest.
Spread using a palette knife.
Start from the top going to the bottom.
Repeat...until it is spread.
Allow to dry completely.
Here is a closer look once it is dry.
Looks like cobblestone, eh!!!
Apply distress ink over the top of tag using blending tool.
Place modeling paste in flower mold.
Allow the paste to set up.
Remove and apply distress ink over the top.
Add details coloring using distress markers.
Stamp "Life" to chipboard cut out that comes with the XL Tag Die.
Ink with distress inks using blending tools.
Die cut butterfly dies out using pattern paper.
Layer together.
Add pattern paper border at the bottom of tag.
Adhere prepared flowers to tag front.
Adhere prepared "Life" frame to top of tag.
Add one of the Cabochon Brads to the "Life" frame.
Adhere prepared butterfly to tag along with metal arrow.
Place ribbon to top of tag.
Pin "Dream" metal to ribbon.
I hope the Emerald Creek Design Team and I have inspired you.
So get those markers, embossing powders, inks, charms, etc and play along with us.
