Halloween Candy Box with Artist on the Block/Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team

Welcome Fall/Halloween with Artist on the Block and Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team....I am excited to share that I have recently became a design team member on. How exciting is that!!!! I am also entering my project on the Sizzix Halloween Challenge  so make sure to check that out also.
Today I am sharing my Artist Block using Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells Collection...I love Graphic 45!!!  I used lots of fussy cut pieces on my candy box along with my Xyron Adhesive and Sticker Maker to place my pieces on my box, nothing like working with some of my favorite companies to create a beautiful gift with. I also used lots of Halloween/fall  decorations that you can pick up at your local craft store to decorate with.
Here is a closer look at one side of the block that I place on a large spool....
I wrapped the spool with a bit of paper and than attached an accordion fold matching piece to the spool. I think it looks like a fence, don't you. I fussy cut some of  the flowers and hot air balloons, layering them together with Xyron Adhesive Dots and added them to the spool.
LOL...I added the skeleton I fussy cut out and ran through my Xyron Sticker Maker and placed it on a doily die cut. and placed it on the medallion die cut for this side of the block
Here is the other side of the block. I added one of the embellishments from the Steampunk Spells Embellishment sheet along with a metal piece tot the top of another medallion die for this side.
I love hats so decided to add a witches hat to the top of my box. and of course I had to decorate it up with lots of fun items; a beautiful bow, a fabulous die cut from the collection, more fussy cut flowers and balloons and all my projects must have metals....
On the other side of the witches hat I added a little skeleton, pumpkin, berries and fussy cut flowers.
And now for the fun part....lift the hat and it will open up to place some of your favorite Halloween candy in...How Fun Is That!!!!! I am giving it to a friend that is having her reconstrution surgery this month, bless her heart she has it scheduled for Halloween day so I think this will give her a pick me up. Love this Babe!!!!
Make sure to join us this month for the Inspiration Challenge on Eileen Blog....
