Believe in the Magic of Christmas Slimline Card


Believe in the Magic of Christmas!!!
The air is full of holiday festivities.... but I hope you are taking time to do some creating! 
It is a relaxing place to be when there is so much going on this time of year. 
I am sharing a mini slimline card using my Frosty Night Collection from Blank Page Muse. 
It is a digital download collection, so you are able to pick and choose which papers and Ephemera pieces you want to create with. 


Begin by applying white card stock to a Kraft mini slimline card base. 
Die cut mini slimline using paper; add to front of card base. 
Fussy cut wreath: add to card front with pop dots.
Stamp sentiment with black ink on white cardstock; mat on Kraft paper. 
Add to card front with pop dots. 


Fussy cut snowman; add to front of card with pop dots. 


Enjoy all your holiday celebrations!

Joy Home Decor - December Throwback Thursday!

 

Hi Everyone, for the next month I will be sharing Throwback Thursdays! I hope you enjoy seeing some of my favorite holiday projects and follow along. 


I began my home decor piece by running a 7 x 7 piece of white card stock through Xyron Creative Station using Xyron Permanent Adhesive. 


Adhere a piece of Sizzix Cork Roll Surfacez Paper to fit on top.


Lay The Crafters Workshop Art Splatters TCW1043 Stencil, apply white gesso to top with stencil brush. 


Add prepared cork paper to frame. 


Create a Christmas bow using May Arts Christmas Ribbon, add to bottom of frame using Xyron Mini Glue Gun. 


To create poinsettias....
Die cut Sunflower Bigz L Die using Cork Roll Surfacez Paper; apply Emerald Creek Crafts Sensations Bronze Anther and Butterscotch Rock Candy to center cut. Set to one side


Repeat flowers using Emerald Creek Crafts Festive Red. 
(I die cut 3 sets using the Sunflower Die.)


Adhere flowers together using Xyron Mini Glue Gun. 


Create banner using the small triangles from the Geometric Box XL Die, Making Essential Matboard, and Cork Roll Surfacez Paper #663892 along with Bronze Anther Embossing Powder. Add to top of frame with Xyron Mini Glue Gun. Add sticker letters and border to top of banner. 


Add small chipboard natural snowflakes randomly to frame and on banner. 


Add prepared poinsettias to frame.


Add berries, pinecones, small gnome and leavers cut from green card stock around flowers.

We were asked to create Box Bonanza for the month of September....

Have a Holly Joy Christmas Card


Have a Holly Jolly Christmas!
Sharing two cards with two techniques using my Holly Leaves Ornament along with my Holly Jolly Sentiment Stamp.
First, add pattern paper to 5" x 6 1/2" card bases. 
First card is stamped with Holly Leaves Ornament and black ink; colored with copic markers. 


Fussy cut out and add to front of card with pop dots. 
Add fussy cut holly leave from pattern paper to front of ornament. 
Add Tile Blue Ribbon to top of ornament. 
Stamp  Holly Jolly Sentiment Stamp; mat on blue pattern paper. 
Add to card front with pop dots. 


Second card is "embossed". 


Stamp red pattern paper with embossing powder using embossing ink. 
Apply Glacier White Embossing Powder to top of embossing ink; heat emboss. 
Fussy cut ornament out. 
Add Tile Blue Ribbon to top of ornament. 


Stamp  Holly Jolly Sentiment Stamp; mat on blue pattern paper. 
Add to card front with pop dots. 


Finish by adding enamel dots to card fronts. 
Enjoy making cards this holiday season.

Be Nice, Not Naughty Card


Time for Christmas Cards...
Are your friends and family nice or naughty, lol!
Love this digital image from my Frosty Night Digital Collection along with all those cute snowmen! 


Create a 5" x 6 1/2" card by printing papers and adding to a card base. 
Die cut two scallop ovals to add to front of the card using Kraft card stock, emboss with snowflake embossing folder. 


Add fussy cut digital printed ephemera to front of card.

SNOW SNOW SNOW ... Let There Be SNOW Home Decor


Welcome December!!!
It's time to decorate.
What better way to start but to grab an old frame that's been laying around with some of my fabulous Frosty Nights Digital Papers and Ephemera  from Blank Page Muse. 
Super easy to use...size to your frame and print. 
Check out all the details of the download HERE!

Begin by adding printed Merry Christmas Snowman Paper to inside of frame. 


Stamp Snow Snow Snow on white cards stock using black ink. 
Adhere to printed paper mats. 
Add to front of frame with pop dots. 
Die cut snowflakes add to front of home decor. 
Die cut poinsettias'; form and add to front of home decor piece. 


Die cut pine needle stems; add.


fussy cut around starburst from printed paper; add with pop dots. 


Finish with fussy cut snowmen and poinsettia; add with pop dots.
