Make Your Soul Happy Explosion Box with Eileen Hull Design Team

Make Your Soul Happy by creating with Eileen Hull Designs with Sizzix!
Through the month of June and July Eileen's design team is using her "Vaulted" Dies.  The Notebook Die, the Stacking Drawer Box Die and the Treasure Box Die along with the "NEW"  Watercolor Florals & Lattice Stencil Set and Painterly Blooms & Background Thinlits Die Set.

I used Eileen's past cube boxes from years ago to create an explosion box featuring the "NEW"  Watercolor Florals & Lattice Stencil Set and Painterly Blooms & Background Thinlits Die Set.

Begin by cutting out the largest Cube Block/Bank Die from matboard.
Form the lid.
Cut cube; trim off the fold connection so the cube will lay flat.

Decorate the explosion box using Mintay Blissfull Time Collection and Ephemera.
Die cut heart and label from matboard.
(This will help form the closure that will keep the explosion box together.)

Decorate lid with
Painterly Blooms & Background Thinlits Die Set., Ephemera, twine bow and metal embellishments.

Cut smaller cube using Sizzix Dies.
Cover with pattern paper on both sides.

Lay Watercolor Florals & Lattice Stencil Set Die on top of outside of explosion box; apply brown ink to top.
Cut labels and cover with pattern paper.
Add two to each side of outer box sides.
(This will help form the closure that will keep the explosion box together.)

Decorate both sides of the explosion box.

Die cut smaller cube boxes and repeat decorating using Eileen Hull Design dies from Sizzix.

I used the Envelope Folder to create folders and envelops to place on the sides of prepared box.
Create and add flowers throughout your project using the Painterly Blooms & Background Thinlits Die Set.

Fill envelopes with bits and pieces of the die cuts from the Faux Postage Die.

Layer each cube to center of largest cube when decorated.

Decorate with fun doilies...you know I love doilies!
REMEMBER to add more of those delightful flower and leaves to your boxes.

Once you get them layered together it will be fabulous!

Add a small house or other dimension piece to the center of the small box as a surprise when the explosion box open ups.

Enjoy creating your own explosion boxes using all of Eileen's fabulous dies from Sizzix. Pam
