Autumn Leaves Mini Album

AUTUMN LEAVES AND PUMPKINS PLEASE!

It' fall...can you believe it. 

So, time to create a fun filled Fall Album!

Grab your favorite Eileen Hull Designs album dies and begin!

I used the Notebook Die.

Cut pieces from Sizzix Matboard. 

Add paper that has been embossed using the Lacey Leaves Embossing Folder, sand lightly. 

Add ribbon to inside front and back of covers prior to placing paper on. 

REPEAT for inside covers and spine. 

Add pretty pockets on the inside along with a border strip. 

  Cut card bases to fit inside of book. 

Add to inside with elastic. 

Apply glue on the top and bottom edges keeping the front open so it forms a pocket. 

Decorate the front of the album using the Tunnel Arches Thinlit,  Windowsill Flower and Vase,  Home Sweet Home add embellishments to front. 

Decorating ideas for the pages using the Tunnel Arches Thinlit and Windowsill Flower and Vase,

Decorate using a mixture of Mintay Autumn Book, Golden Days, and Autumn Splendor Collection.

 Do interesting flap on inside pages for added details. 

Place tags and pockets on pages. 

Emboss as many pages as you can using the Lacey Leaves Embossing Folder.

REMEMBER to lightly sand embossed pieces.   

Cut the Tunnel Arches  to create waterfall pieces. 

Create pockets using the Tunnel Arches and then slide other arches inside. 

Fussy cut images and using premade embellishments gives a lot of detail to all your projects! 

Add some using pop dots and others just apply to pages. 

Create pockets using the Lacey Leaves Embossing Folder and prepared tags, decorate with embellishments. Ink. 

Add to pockets.

Coffee and Friends Card

There is always time for coffee and crafts...doing them together is priceless! 

Doing crafts with friends is just the caffeine on the top! 

I am sharing some of my own products every Monday... so make sure to go back through my feed to see all those fabulous ideas. 

Please ask your local store to carry products from Emerald Creek along with stopping by Scrapbook Made Simple to see all the coffee stamps that are available! 

1. Add card stock and pattern paper to card base. 

2. Die cut skinny frame from cream card stock, emboss and layer to navy backing. 

3.Die cut flowers and leaves. Add to front of card. 

4.Stamp and color coffee mug and coffee beans using black ink. Fussy cut out and add to cad front. 

5.Stamp sentiment with black ink, mat on plaid and navy paper. Add to front of card with pop dots. 

6. Finish card with adding butterflies and bling to center of flowers.

Created using my Sunflower Forever Collection from Emerald Creek Supplies!

The Sunflower Forever Collection makes creating cards super easy. 

1. Add brown card stock to card base. 

2. Add pattern paper to top. 

3. Die Cut doily and place on card along with a small border strip. 

4. Stamp sentiment; place on top with pop dots. 

5. Fussy cut sunflower image from ephemera sheet; add to top of card. 

6. Add Glossy Accent to centers of sunflower images.

Begin by layering desiger paper to card base and decorate with fussy cut ephemera. 

Add twine bow and bits of metals. 

Finish with adding Glossy Accent to the center of the flowers.

DISCOVER PLAYING CARD

Discover Playing Card using 49 and Market designer paper and Ephemera. 

Distress and ink before adding to playing card.  

Apply rub on to card front. 

Create a belly band to "WRAP" around the playing card. 

Add small metal embellishments to top with brad.

Begin by adding the designer paper to a card base...

THEN...

Fussy cut the Coffee Delight ephemera and add to the top with pop dots!!!

Finish with a natural bow!!

Hidden Creek HOME Layout - Eileen Hull Designs Sept RELEASE

How EXCITING!!!!

Eileen's collection was inspired by nature and the cozy feeling of home. It was designed to coordinate with the Handbound Journal (sold separately) to create a tunnel book, but each die set also stands beautifully on its own and can be used in so many creative ways!

Lacy Leaves Embossing Folder

A bold, intricate lacy pattern measuring 6” x 8 ½”—perfectly sized for journal covers and cards. This design was inspired by an actual piece of lace from my collection that reminded me of leaves. I love the mix of nature and lace! Whether you emboss or deboss the pattern, the result is simply beautiful.

Home Sweet Home Die Set

This 24-piece set includes layered forest animals (deer, fox, bunny, squirrel, and butterflies), pine trees, grassy hills, greenery, clouds, sun, moon, and a cozy house. The sweet deer alone makes this set worth it! Perfect for holiday projects, baby themes, everyday cards, journals, and tags.

Windowsill Flowers & Vase

A 13-die set designed to coordinate with the Tunnel Arches. The window die matches the largest arch, letting you build a 3D scene that looks as though you’re peering through a window. The tiny vase and flowers (yes, I had to make them that small for scale!) are wonderful for using scraps. The little lacy piece also makes a lovely accent for junk journal pockets and cards.

Tunnel Arches

Who knew arches could be so versatile? Make a rainbow! Use the negative cuts to create graduated windows in journals, cards, and home décor, or the positive pieces as card bases and tags—nothing goes to waste! This 7-die nesting set ranges in size from 4 ½” x 3 ¼” down to teeny-tiny (so cute!). They were designed to fit perfectly inside the Handbound Journal if you’d like to try your hand at a tunnel book. 

I created a HOME layout using all of the new dies!

Can you find them?

Create layered banners underneath your photo using the Tunnel Arches Thinlit.

Add a smaller tunnel arch to the top along with HOME using the Tiled Alphanumeric.

Decorate the side of the layout using the  Tunnel Arches Thinlit, Windowsill Flower and Vase Thinlit, Home Sweet Home Thinlit,  Lacey Leaves Embossing Folder.

This Moment Fold Card

THIS MOMENT FOLD CARD

Seems like fold cards are all the rave right now!

This one is an easy one to do. 

Just cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2' card base. 

Score at the 2" and 6 1/2" marks

Adhere dotted brown card stock along with the Vintage Times pattern paper to each side of front. 

Stamp each side with background script stamp and brown ink. 

Add small button to top. 

Add brown satin ribbon behind ephemera prior to adhering into place.

Add small fussy cut butterfly from the Vintage Times Ephemera Sheet. 

Add to card front. 

Fussy cut flowers from the Vintage Times Ephemera Sheet; add to front of card. 

Add sentiment and button from 49 and Market Element sheet to top.

Open This Moment Fold Card up to decorate inside. 

Stamp sides with background script stamp and brown ink. 

Add brown dot card stock to center along with Vintage Times pattern paper '

Stamp sentiment with black ink. 

Enjoy mixing stamps with the Vintage Times Collection.

Wherever - Map It Out Playing Card

WHEREVER - MAP IT OUT PLAYING CARD

The challenge was to use "repeat". The Wherever 49 and Market Collection was perfect since it had multiple papers that had "repeat" designs. 

Add a few repeat postage stamps along with a couple of metal areas. 

REMEMBER....

to add a "repeat" rub ons  to your playing cards!

Sunflower Forever Paper Clips

PLUS..

My Sunflower Forever Designer Paper Collection from Emerald Creek Crafts and extra-large paper clips. 

1. Cut paper on fold using larger nesting die, make sure the fold isn't inside the die, so it isn't cut open.

2. Adhere around the metal paper clip.  

 3. Cut nesting dies using card stock and designer papers. Creating layers as you go.

5. Add doilies to create depth. 

5.  Fussy cut images from Sunflower Forever Ephemera; add to top of prepared paper clip using adhesive dots. 

6. Add metal pieces to paper clip. 

7. Add natural twine or sewing thread to paper clips. 

Add Glossy Accent to center of sunflower for added dimension.
