Mixed Media House Ornament and Tag Album with Tutorial - Eileen Hull Inspiration Team

Hi everyone! Are you ready for a Christmas treat in July!  Today I am sharing Eileen's House Ornament Die from Sizzix. I want to inspire you to see that the House Ornament Die can be used for more than an ornament. So I created a party favor using the House Ornament Die with a small tag album inside. Party favors are always a hit at my house and this House Ornament is the perfect size for any and all parties.

Begin by cutting the House Ornament  from mat board. Ink the tops of House Ornament Die cuts with ColorBox Bay and Beach Blends Inks. Apply ColorBox Clear Blends Ink to top of Daisy Collage stamp; add Emerald Creek Supplies Glacier White Embossing Powder to top. Heat set embossing powder.

Stamp crosshatch image to prepared House Ornament using ColorBox Bay Blends Ink.

Form House Ornament.

Die cut Credit Card Sleeve and Tag Die from pattern paper and copy paper. Punch holes in top; adhere together with ribbon to create Tag Album.

Add prepared mini album to inside of House Ornament.

Close top of House Ornament using ribbon tie. Die cut Stitchy Flower Die; form flowers. Adhere together; add small metal gemstones to center of flowers. Add flowers to House Birdhouse.

Die Birds and Butterfly Die from pattern paper; add small metal safety pins to center of butterflies. Add to House Ornament.

Place prepared House Ornament on small metal stand. Add metal knob to House Ornament. Enjoy! Pam

  1. Beautiful and now I can see what size the house makes up to. I really like the stamps that you used.
