Dance in the Rain with Authentique

Hi! Today I am sharing with you my upcycled Shadowbox Frame using Authentique Refreshed Collection. I don't know about you but I am ready for Spring! When the bluebirds, robins, and cardinals start showing up to start building their nest I know it won't be long.

I found this gem of a shadowbox frame at my local thrift store. I knew right away that I would create a home décor piece. Authentique Refreshed was the perfect collection for my project because who doesn't love to "Dance in the Rain"!

I began by painting my shadowbox frame navy blue and allowed it to dry. Add pattern paper to the inside along with the matted "Dance in the Rain" journal card. Fussy cut border; adhere to the bottom of inside of frame along with a matching piece of pattern paper and circle sticker that was placed on a pop dot.

Photo 1: Paint chipboard circle with white paint; dry. Adhere paper doily to top and place on frame.
Photo 2: Die cut petal from pattern paper. Form heart; adhere to top of doily.
Photo 3: Adhere circles to top of heart.
Photo 4: Fussy cut bird and place on circles with pop dots.

Add another die cut petal to top of frame along with bow, flower, leaves and berries.

Layer circle sticker to circle paper; add to front of frame with a pop dot.

Lovestruck Valentine Treat Pocket with Eileen Hull Inspiration Team

Are you still needing to create a few fun and quick Valentines projects. If you are I am so glad you stopped by to see just one of my "Favorite Loved" Eileen Hull Dies!!! I have so many of her dies that I truly love and use all the time. Today I am sharing her Flower Pocket XL Die  along with her Book Club 1 Dies: Bookplate, Hinges & Labels , Birds & Butterflies and  Floral Arch & Words to create just that!

Photo 1: Die cut  Flower Pocket XL Die from mat board and pattern paper. 
Photo 2: Adhere pattern paper cuts to  Flower Pocket. 
Photo 3: Form  Flower Pocket add pattern paper to outside of  Flower Pocket/ 

Lay stencil on inside and apply distress paint over top. Repeat on out side of formed box.

Die cut card stock, pattern paper and journal block from Floral Arch & Words, Birds & Butterflies

and Bookplate, Hinges & Labels

Photo 5: Add flower from Bookplate, Hinges & Labels along with wood arrow to bottom of Flower Pocket.

Cover Sweetheart candy box with pattern paper to form tag box. Add die cuts from the Bookplate, Hinges & Labels to front of prepared tag box.

Add black ribbon bow to top of tag box.

Create a tag using the Birds & Butterflies and Bookplate, Hinges & Labels. 

Add a planner pick to the tag.

Project Love ...

Memories!!!! Fun how things pop up in your Facebook Memories! Today I woke up to find these sweet photos of a "Project Of Love" I created a few years ago for a Design Team project for Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team.

 I used the Be Mine Collection for my Cookie Container... I have to say this is still one of my favorite dies. So versatile and so easy to use. I cut mat board out using the die and then my paper, adhered them together and decorated.

These fabulous flowers are from the Window Box Die, aren't they wonderful. I cut two of them out to form each flower and added a pearl to the center of each.

The hearts are cut out using the mat board and paper using Tim Holtz Die. I added more of the amazing flowers, along with beads and pearls.

Here is a closer look at the top....

 I created a wonderful Love Card to go along with my Be Mine Cookie Container using the Window Box Die. Placing fun embellishments in each of the window panes. Isn't it a wonderful way to share the love.

Live Learn Hope Valentine Card with Tutorial

Learn, Live and Hope is such a fabulous inspirational message!!! It just inspires love and dreams! I can't help but to share the love as we go into Feb and seeing all the Valentine inspiration that is already being shared.

Today I created a Valentine inspired card using the stamps from Blank Page Muse. I began my card by painting a piece of white card stock using DecoArt Media paints.

Because my stamps are unmounted I thought i would run them through my Xyron 3" Disposable Sticker Maker to see if they would fit and work on a stamp block. I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE...THEY WORK PERFECTLY!!!! Once you are done stamping, remove them from the stamp block and place back on the adhesive sheet. Place in small plastic bag or other stamp container.

Place stamps on stamp block and stamp card stock with Fired Brick Distress Ink.

Cut painted card stock down to fit on stamped background card stock. Stamp background image on top.

Die cut Trifecta pieces from white card stock; emboss with Emerald Creek Supplies Embossing Powder.
(To create the embossed layers ... apply Boss Gloss or Embossing Ink over top of each die cut, sprinkle a bit of each embossing powder to the top and heat with embossing gun. Repeat as necessary to achieve the layers of embossed look.) 

Adhere distress red card stock; stamped background pieces and embossed cut out to top of card base.
Spatter with white and black paint.

Stamp heart and butterflies on card stock using Archival ink. 

Color fussy cut images out with Distress Markers.

Layer butterflies together at bodies; tip wings up and add to front of card.

Add stamped sentiment to front of card with pop dots.

Adhere chipboard to card front. Layer hearts together and place on front of card with pop dots. Add bow.

Add a second prepared butterfly to top of card.

Live and Love Layout with Graphic 45

Begin by fussy cutting around the image of the pattern paper and adhering it to a background piece of the Little Women Collection. Die cut scallop circle; adhere under the edge of the fussy cut piece. 

Add photo to center of scallop circle.

Adhere “Life and Love” Epherema Card and “Little Women” to top of layout.

Cut top from tag; adhere to top of “Little Women” Epherema card. Add knob to tag.

 Add Door Plate to layout.

Fussy cut like images from pattern paper; add to front of layout with pop dots. Add small flowers to layout.

Add Key to front of layout.

Fussy cut flower image from pattern paper; add to layout with pop dots. Add a more punched out flowers randomly around layout.
