Jean Pocket Tags and C'est Magnifique Kits Announcement!!!!
Well I just did a jean pocket exchange with a wonderful group of crafty friends...I wish I had photos of all of their fabulous tags but all I have to share is mine and the one I received from my friend Deonna. We were to start by cutting a pocket off a pair of old blue jeans and then decorate them. I started by ripping my jeans apart at the top so I could use the zipper, button and button opening for my pocket.
I cut three inch circles from the legs of the jeans to make my flowers with. They are so simple to make and if I receive enough comments I will share how to do them. I made 6 all together along with the leaves to put in my pocket . Once I cut them into a spiral and rolled them up, I sprayed the flowers and leaves with Dylusion Sprays. Allowed them to dry and then added them to my pocket over my zipper and doily I had glued into place using fabric glue.
I took the Wrangler patch off the back so I could have it as part of the tag. Don't you just love it.
I cut the seam off the jean legs to for my loop for my tag, added it, the button and button hole to the pocket with fabric glue. Once everything was glued I filled it with some goodies including the extra flowers I made. I received the following tag in our exchange from my friend Deonna and want to share with you her exciting news of being the new owner of C'est Magnifique Kit Club...I am so excited for her and I know she would love for you to stop by and check out her announcement and of course all the scrumptious kits HERE.
This is the fun monkey pocket Deonna made for the swap...don't you just love it, so stinkin' cute.
She loves to make flowers also and they turned out so pretty.
Love the extra ones she made with the rolled seam binding...just love flowers. Well I hope you enjoyed our tags and maybe think about doing an exchange with some of your crafty friends. Oh and don't forget to check out C'est Magnifique Kits and tell Deonna hello. Hugs Pammejo
