Happy Birthday with Sun City Stamps

Welcome to SinCity Stamps today...I am going to share with you how to make a birthday card using some homemade flowers from your Art Journaling Stamp Set from Sin City Stamp store.
To begin with I started with a 4" x 9" card base and added my pattern paper that I tore to the front of the card.
I added a 1/2" strip of match paper down the left side of the paper.
I sewed a piece of white lace down the edge of the card front using my sewing machine. I also made sure that some of the lace went off the side of the card front.
I stamped the number collage from the Art Journaling Stamp Set with Lady Bug Memento Ink, placed it on top of a piece of pattern paper and sewed a stitch around the edge prior to placing it at the top of my card.
I stamped a row of flowers using the Lady Bug ink onto a strip of white cardstock.
Fussy cut them out and using a molding mat and stylus rolled them to turn up the edges.
Finally, layer the flowers together, place a red gemstone in the center and place on your card front.
I added a bit of bling swirls to the font of my card before I placed my Happy Birthday banners to the front of my card. I stamped the Steampunk Circus Happy Birthday sentiment onto scrap white card stock and made little flags with, placing them on pop dots to the front of my card front.
I hope you try your hand at making flowers from your Sin City Stamps and if you haven't checked out the Sin City Stamps Store I would love for you to see what is available. Hugs Pammejo

Hero Cards with We R Memory Keepers

Do you have "heros" in your life...I know I do...I have some that have served in the military and some I just look at as "heros" in my life. I have to say both groups mean the world to me....Today I want to share a couple of Hero Cards with you using We R Memory Keepers Red, White and Blue papers. I just love the bright colors of the paper and fun die cuts that are the pieces. I covered my red card base with pattern paper and added layeres to the top of the card.
Here is a closer look at the layers that I placed on with pop dots. I did a circle and scallop circle punch to place my metal star on before I added a white sheer ribbon under it. I love making my flags look like they are actually flying in the air...the easiest way to achieve that is to either use your tweezers or petal roller to roll the tips around after you have place them onto your project.
For my second Hero Card...I made it from the scraps of the first. I layered my pieces, adding some with pop dots and adding some red twine and bling to the top of the card. I hope you make some "hero" cards to send out this year. Hugs Pammejo

SinCity Stamps Design Team Call Project - A Wing Above the Rest

I hope you enjoy my entry for the SinCity Stamps Design Team, I have my fingers crossed for a second term. If you haven't been to the SinCity Stamps Store, you must check it out...they have some wonder stamps and other products available for the card maker, scrapbooker and altered projects artist. I hope you enjoy the tag that I  made to share with you today...called A Wing Above the Rest...
I gathered up my inks and my stamp set from Sin City Stamps called A Wing Above the Rest to make my fabulous tag with. If you are like me I love tags and the more unique the better. I made this one to add to one of scrapbook pages for our trip we took to Alaska because it was such an adventure.
So I started my tag by doing multiple stamping of the winged corset stamp on to different sheets of 7Gypsies Postal Papers using my Memento ink.
I fussy cut out all of the images, inked the edges with brown ink, glued them together. Make sure that you only glue the corset part of the stamped image, leave the wings free for flight.
I stamped my tag twice with the background stamp that is the Wings Above the Rest set using black ink. Using my Wild Honey, Broken China, Wild Honey along with my  blending tool I covered my background stamp.
Once the background was finished I started layering my paper by first adding my stamped world image to the side of my tag and then placing my "Winged Corset" to the top of the tag. Make sure you only glue the corset, leaving the wings free so you are able to bend them up in flight.
I added a few 7Gypsies gears, paper clip and a paper ribbon to the bottom of the tag that I stamped "Adventure" to. I hope you try your hand at making some unique tags and check out the stamps at Sin City Stamps since they have some very unique ones. Wish me luck on the DT Call. Hugs Pammejo

Bikini Time for Couture Creations and Core'dinations Blog Hop!!!!!

I love doing blog hops they are so fun to see what others create using some of the same mutual products. The design teams from Couture Creations and Core'dinations will be sharing all week projects that will inspire you to use your dies, embossing folders and core papers from both Couture Creations and Core'dinations in some fun ways. Today as a design team members for Couture Creations sharing I will be sharing with you a layout sketch on  Couture Creations Pinterest account.
Don't you just love the sketch...make sure if you love Pinterest to check out the other fabulous ideas.
I started my project by running some of the green and blue Vintage Collections from Core'dinations through my Fubu Embossing folder from the Sweet Dreams Couture Creations Collections.
I sand each of my green vintage papers using my sanding block and wiping the dust off with Core'dinations Dust Bunny...it is a fabulous.
I then took several of the flag stickers off of my sticker sheet, placed them on the blue vintage paper from Core'dinations and ran them through my die cut machine with the Fubu Embossing Folder.
I once again sanded them off using my sanding block and wiped them the Dust Bunny.
I cut around the flags with my Couture Creations Precision Scissors.
I cut a fish tall flag from one off my embossed green vintage paper that had been sanded and distress and attached it to the top of my dry brushed and distressed pattern paper using Couture CreationsTwo Sided Tape.
I added some more of the stickers, punched out paper borders to the top of fishtail tag, along with the banners that I had embossed to the top of my photos with Couture Creations Foam Tape.
I wanted to make sure you see that I distressed the top piece of pattern paper prior to placing it on another piece of pattern paper. I achieved this look by going around the edge with my Precision Scissors making sure that some of the paper was torn. I added some Couture Creation Bling to the top of my border and a fussy cut bird from a piece of the pattern paper.
I hope you enjoyed my Bikini Time Layout today and make sure to check out the other designers blogs as well as Couture Creations and Core'dinations Blogs...I am sure you will want to follow them for more fabulous and creative ideas. Hugs Pammejo

Liberty Card with Authentique

Wow, it is so hard to believe that we are already thinking about the Fourth of July....where in the world did the first half of the year go to. I would like to share my Liberty Card with you today since it is time to think about getting a few Fourth of July cards out in the mail. I used Authentique Glory Papers to make my card with. I place the Allegiance paper to the top of grey card stock and added layered papers that I had matted to the top of the card after I  used my We R Memory Keepers Deco Corner Chomper on.
I fussy cut my bell, postage stamps and "Liberty" from the Liberty paper and added it to the top of the matted paper once I had tied the red sheer ribbon around the matted piece. Couture Creations Nesting Dies True Friends Tag Book

Today I want to share with you how to make a tag book using your Couture Creations Nesting Dies. I hope you enjoy the one I made because it was really easy to do. This is also a wonderful way just to make a few gift tags in the future using the same technique.
I used the largest of the Scallop Nesting Rectangles to make my scallop border with. HINT: To hold the die in place I used a bit of washi tape to secure it prior to running it through my die cut machine.
I die cut and adhere the largest of the Nesting Rectangle using Couture Creations Double Sided Tape to a white card base that I cut a bit larger than the rectangle. I added my scallop border that I had die cut to the bottom of the white card base with another piece of double sided tape.
I placed a small border strip over the top of the seam. Repeat these steps on the back of the white card base making sure that the scallops match up.
So now you need to cut a stack of nesting rectangles along with your scallop borders to make the front and back of the 4 tags you will need to make your tag book.
Make sure to cut an angle using your Couture Creations Precision Scissors on the top corners of your tag. I also used my Couture Creations Sanding Block on some core dotted paper to expose the inter core.
Page Two - Add some of the embellishments and frames using the Foam Mounting Tape to give dimension to your tags. Remember to use some to the fabulous Gemstones from Couture Creations.
Page 3 - All the frames for the tag book is used from a few of the smaller nesting rectangles.
Page 4 - It is always fun to do double layers using your Couture Creation Nesting Dies, they always give a wonderful mat look to your project.
Page 5 - I made a few of my photo frames from the nesting rectangles.

You Are Special Tag with SinCity Stamps

Welcome Monday Morning!!! Can you believe how fast the year is speeding by....I can't. This weekend was Fathers Day so I would like to share a tag I made to place on my husband gift bag. I love tags and never have enough hanging around to use.

I started my tag by first painting with White Gesso, once it was dried I added modeling past using a plaster knife and a stencil that I just love

I sprayed my tag with two different colors of mist once the tag was completely dried.

Make sure to allow your tag to dry completely after misting and then stamp your Art Jorunaling collage stamp to the top, this will create more interest to your tags background

I stamped my Journal Stamp from the Art Journaling set to a piece of pattern paper, fussy cut it out and distressed it using my distress tool. I placed it to my tag and stapled it into place. I then stamped my World Balloon from Wing Above the Rest Stamp Set once onto pattern paper using Broken China Distress Ink and once with the Black Memento Ink. I fussy cut the basket and world from the black stamped image and placed it on top of the blue image, placing it to the top of the journal block with pop dots. I added my die cut from the paper pad to the bottom of the journal block.

I added some matching ribbon to the top of the tag prior to placing it on my gift bag. I hope you try making fun and unique tags for your gift bags and make sure to check out the Sin City Stamps Store to check out the fabulous stamps that are being offered. Hugs Pammejo
